Survivor Fans Podcast
Jo Ann and Stacy follow the hit reality show Survivor.

There were some very interesting developments in this episode from a gameplay perspective. There were also examples of some really ugly, human behavior. Survivor is a reflection of the human experience which includes the good and the bad. There are often teachable moments after episodes like this and we really appreciate the fans that share their reactions and observations to help us all expand our understanding of each other and the game.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Nineteen fans shared their thoughts on episode 10 as well as predictions for what we'll see next.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great show. This week we heard from: Barbara, Skippy, Jen, Boston Mark, Ronda, BrandonB, Becca and Liam, Victoria, Drew, Sandi, Rashmi, Jody, Mikeybear, ColdMike, Jeremiah, Josh, Alice, and Paul

This week we interviewed Jenn Brown. She left the game in episode 10 of Survivor Worlds Apart. Jenn started off as the epitome of a no collar, free spirit. She did well in challenges but was just as happy to go body surf with her new friend Hali. After the merge, she lost interest in the game, asked to be voted out and became the polar opposite of fans like Hali and Joe that would have gladly traded places with her for a chance to play a few more days.

Listen to this interview to hear more details on the auction, her take on what was said about Will, how she'll decide who gets her vote and more!

Whew, that was another emotionally charged episode. What is it with this season and bullies? How did we end up with three men that think it is in any way OK to take out their anger on Shirin in these ways? It was hard to watch Will's ugly behavior. Putting that aside for a minute, Mike's worst fears came to fruition and he completely fumbled his attempt to thwart it. How did we end up in a scenario where Rodney is the biggest strategic threat in the game now?

Who would you most like to see gone? Do you think Mike stands a chance now that the odds are so clearly stacked against him? Do you think Dan will be able to use his advantage in a meaningful way? What did you think of the food stash twist? Were you surprised by who focused on the advantage at the auction? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 10.
Merica:Carolyn, Dan, Mike, Rodney, Shirin, Sierra, Tyler, and Will

The outcome this week was without a doubt predicted by many, but the circumstances that led to this result included many surprises and twists. The fact that several fans talked about how it is still anyone's game, is a testament to how much many of us are enjoying this season. With so many castaways that know the game this season it continues to keep us guessing as to how it will all play out. Opinions varied on Jenn's status as a quitter, but everyone seemed to be sad to see Joe go.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Fifteen fans shared their thoughts on episode 9 as well as predictions for what we'll see next.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great show. This week we heard from: Barbara, Rashmi, Sarah & Marla, BrandonB, Samantha, BostonMark, Drew, Ann, Jill, Josh, ColdMike, AZ Craig, Jeremiah, and Paul.

This week we interviewed Joe Anglim. He left the game in episode 9 of Survivor Worlds Apart. From the very beginning, he was perceived as this season's biggest threat. Outnumbered and with his back against the wall, he went on an impressive, challenge winning streak after the merge which only incited their desire to get rid of him more. Joe was a clear fan favorite, and we certainly will not be surprised to see him get a second chance to play Survivor.

Listen to this interview to hear how he was chosen, details on the type of player that will earn his final tribal vote, his Mike impression and more!

You can look at the outcome of this episode and say it was predictable, but we certainly did not anticipate all the twists and turns that got packed into the end result that made it quite enjoyable. Jenn just achieved Dan and Rodney level goat status. We know that Rodney has a secret final four alliance and now we know that Mike has one too. It looks like they finally are going to go after each other in the next episode.

Who would you most like to see gone? How long do you think they will drag Jenn along? Who is going to win in the face off between Mike and Rodney? Do you think asking to be voted out is any different than quiting outright? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 9.
Merica:Carolyn, Dan, Jenn, Mike, Rodney, Shirin, Sierra, Tyler, and Will

This episode turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag. There were some highlights for some of the castaways and low, lowlights for a couple others. Dan and Rodney's actions and cruel words have really turned off many fans. Their ongoing disrespectful antagonism of Shirin and Sierra have cemented their positions as the unwitting villains of the season. Meanwhile, Joe and Mike really gave their fans something to cheer for this week. There may be a temptation to give up on this season and write it off as predictable from here on, but we think it's way too soon for that. Based on the depth and enjoyment the first seven episodes provided, we believe season 30 has more surprises in store for us.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Fourteen fans shared their thoughts on episode 8 as well as predictions for what we'll see next.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great show. This week we heard from: Jody, Liam and Becca, Rashmi, Marla, Sandi, BrandonB, Drew, Ann, Josh, Jeremiah, Doreese, ColdMike, and Paul.

This week we interviewed Hali Ford. She left the game in episode 8 of Survivor Worlds Apart. Hali adapted quickly and formed strong bonds with her No Collar tribe. Unfortunately, those relationships carried over into the merge and the guilt by association eventually became her undoing.

Listen to this interview to hear how she was cast, who else came to "ladies couch" to join her alliance, how she'll decide who gets her jury vote and more!

Joe has turned out to be every bit the challenge beast that we suspected he might be back before this season began. They have plenty of reason to fear him. It just got immensely harder for him to stay around much longer though. The challenging part for Mike is that Joe gives him great cover while he is still in the game. The minute Joe is gone, everyone will likely start to focus on getting rid of Mike and he knows it. Fortunately for Mike, he just found the best insurance policy in the game. Do you think Rodney will have the patience to wait to get rid of Mike or will he break down and try to pull the trigger too early?

How long do you think Joe can keep winning? Has your perception of any of the remaining players changed significantly since the merge? Who would you most like to see gone? Who is most likely to break ranks with the controlling alliance? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 8.
Merica:Carolyn, Dan, Jenn, Joe, Mike, Rodney, Shirin, Sierra, Tyler, and Will

The consensus is clear in this week's feedback. The majority of us think the new tribe could have done much better with the new name, but we all enjoyed the episode. This may be a standout season. We're seven episodes in and still enjoying it. It's great to have so many people left in the game that seem to understand what they're doing.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Fifteen fans shared their thoughts on episode 7 as well as predictions for what we'll see next.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great show. This week we heard from: Jill, JamesG, Rashmi, Sarah and Marla, Boston Mark, Drew, BrandonB, Jody, JimR, ColdMike, Josh, Liam and Becca, and Paul.
