Wow, that has to be one of the best, most action packed merge episodes we have seen in a long time. We really enjoyed watching all the scheming and scrambling for position with multiple twists and a super blindside vote out thrown in for good measure.

Will Galu proceed to self destruct? Can you see any way for the the Foa Foa underdogs to rally? How do you think Laura and John faired in this episode? Could Jaison go far now that everyone agrees he is no threat? Do you think the reign of Evil Russell is finally over? Who do you think is the biggest threat to win?

Here is the new merged tribe after the eighth episode:
Aiga: Brett, Dave, Jaison, John, Kelly, Laura, Mick, Monica, Natalie, Russell H, Shambo

Jo Ann thinks Laura will be the next to leave. Stacy thinks Russell's time is up. Who do you think will be voted out next?

We have several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-1547. Here are some themes that emerged from this week's Feedback: Danger Dave's downfall, the snookering of Shambo, the imminent self destruction of Galu, the slow death of Foa Foa, and oh yeah, let's throw in some references to Pirate Master for good measure.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Nineteen fans just like you shared their thoughts on episode 7 and predictions for what we'll see next.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to a great LF show. This week we heard from: Christy, BC, John, Fancy, Rashmi, Ste, Carolyn, Shelley, Drew G, Samantha, Griffin, Ian, Paul, MikeyBear, Mike K, Ted, Chris, Tim and Kimberly.

This week we interviewed Elizabeth Kim. She left the game in episode 7 of Survivor Samoa. Liz had been a constant target for her tribe, and just when it looked like she might catch a break she was "blindsided" at tribal council.

Listen to this interview to find out what she did to prepare herself for the show, her assessment of her tribemates as well as some on Galu, the single event that changed her fate in the game and lots more!

What does it mean when the rational mind of a doctor starts grasping at superstitious reasons to explain his tribe's string of losses? Was that somehow another reference to Russell Swan? As in, the chief necklace knocked Russell out of the game, and it's responsible for us always losing too! Yeah, that must be the answer.

Jeff called out Foa Foa as one of the worst tribes in Survivor history. Do you think there is any chance they will survive after the merge? Are there any weaknesses in the plan that the men from Galu put in action this week? Do you think Laura really bonded with evil Russell? With the merge coming, will Shambo choose to flip and join her friends at Foa Foa right away, or will she stick close to her new Galu buddies?

Here are tribes after the seventh episode:
Galu: Brett, Dave, Erik, John, Kelly, Laura, Monica, Shannon
Foa Foa: Jaison, Mick, Natalie, Russell H

Jo Ann thinks Dave will be the next to leave. Stacy thinks Galu will hold it together long enough to take out a couple more from Foa Foa, and that means that Jaison will be next. Who do you think will be voted out next?

Feedback on episode 6 was definitely split. Some liked it and others found it anti-climatic. As we say so often here, the beauty of the LF show is in the differences we observe as we share what we each saw in the episode. This trend of giving away too much information in the commercials is a bit concerning though.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Twenty six fans just like you shared their thoughts on episode 6 and predictions for what we'll see next.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to a great LF show. This week we heard from: Brian, Samantha, John, Christy, Becca, MikeyBear, Deanna Beth, Doug, Fancy, Griffin, Drew G, Carolyn, Graham, Ted, Jeremiah, Tammy, Paul, Damien, Drew T, Sandi, Ian, Adam, Mike K, Lynda, Chris and Kimberly.

Griffin from Vancouver used a phrase in his feedback this week that fit perfect with a picture that Dan sent us a few weeks ago.
Don't mess with Russell the Gnome

This week we interviewed Russell Swan. He left the game in episode 6 of Survivor Samoa. Russell had expressed concern about what happens to leaders on Survivor in his intro videos, and unfortunately or perhaps prophetically that exact fate appeared to be his undoing.

Listen to this interview to find out how he and his family reacted to seeing his illness on TV, how he's doing now, his assessment of the Galu tribe and lots more!

We never like to see someone go out on a medical, but it seemed a bit unbalanced to hear Jeff describe that as the scariest moment in Survivor history. How do you think it compared to Michael Skupin passing out and falling face first into a fire back in season 2 and burning all the skin off his hands?

Do you think Foa Foa can take advantage of this shift in momentum? Who do you think Galu will elect as their new chief? Will Shambo finally find a home in Galu, or will she defect to Foa Foa the first chance she gets?

Here are tribes after the sixth episode:
Galu: Brett, Dave, Erik, John, Kelly, Laura, Monica, Shannon
Foa Foa: Jaison, Liz, Mick, Natalie, Russell H

We both think that the momentum will shift back to Foa Foa and believe that Monica will be next to go from Galu. Who do you think will be voted out next?

Episode 5 brought a new twist to tribal council and prompted some common themes in the Listener Feedback. Several people called out a possible dark side to Laura and really had trouble with how Galu is treating Shambo or Shambles as Graham calls her. As expected, there are lots of predictions on the medical evacuation in episode 6 and the potential impact on the game.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Twenty seven fans just like you shared their thoughts on episode 4 and predictions for what we'll see next.
