Another week, another blindside! This one might not have been as dramatic as the previous one, but it's likely to have even bigger ramifications for the once strong alliance of eight. What do you think about Ciera, Abi and Wentworth's chances of surviving another vote now?

What did you think about this blindside? Do you think they picked the right target? Who do you think will get the credit for this one? Why do you think Spencer and Jeremy opted to go against their alliance? Is Jeremy guaranteed to make final tribal now that he's sitting on two HIIs? Will Fishbach be able to leverage the advantage or will he end up pulling a Foley? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 9.
OrKun :Abi, Ciera, Jeremy, Joe, Keith, Kimmi, KWent, Stephen, Spencer, and Tasha

That ranks up there with some of the best blindsides we have ever experienced. Reading out nine "will not count votes" is a new record. The sin of overconfidence strikes again as the mighty, "alliance of nine" fumbles their advantage and promptly shrinks to eight, possibly opening the door to new possibilities for those at the bottom.

What did you think about this blindside? Do you think they made the most impactful choice with the blindside votes? How will this affect KWent's game going forward? Will this be enough to shock Kimmi, KWig, Spencer or Keith into taking action against the controlling "alliance of eight" to improve their spot at the bottom? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the new merged tribe after episode 8.

It is season 31 but Survivor is still finding ways to surprise us and the contestants. For the first time, we have a merge at 13 with our first jury member in place. The editors remain very clear on the story telling this season. If you don't change or fall back to your old ways, you get voted out or relegated to the background.

How did you feel about this vote out? Do you think the excitement will slow for a while as the majority of nine picks off the remaining three? Did Spencer make the best choice? Are we likely to see an immediate shift in the controlling majority to eliminate a big threat? Who would you target first in the controlling alliance if you were Ciera? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the new merged tribe after episode 7.
OrKun :Abi, Ciera, Jeremy, Joe, Keith, Kimmi, KWent, KWig, Savage, Stephen, Spencer, and Tasha

Change, change and more change! This season is packed with uncertainty as these veteran castaways are challenged with a third tribe configuration before the merge. The only constant this season is that unwavering confidence equals eminent failure.

How did you feel about this blindside? Will it work for or against the remaining, new Ta Keo members? How do you think Savage will respond? Who will emerge as the controlling alliance after the merge? Who would you target first: the physical or the strategic threats? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episodes 6.
Ta Keo 3:Abi, Ciera, Kass, KWig, Savage, Spencer
Bayon 3:Jeremy, Joe, Keith, Kimmi, KWent, Stephen, and Tasha

Somewhat miraculously, ok with a significant assist from Fishbach, Angkor managed to avoid another Tribal Council. The editors continued to enforce the theme of the perils of playing an "old school" game in this "new school" season that rewards those willing to change with, you guessed it, a "Second Chance". New Bayon demonstrated their loyalty by sacking one of their original members given the first opportunity.

How did you feel about the blindside? Did you see enough to make it seem justified? Will it work for or against the remaining new-Bayon members? What do you think about Spencer's redemption story? Will Angkor be able to survive another immunity challenge? How did you interpret Woo's story about his mother? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episodes 5.
New Ta Keo:Ciera, Joe, Kass, Keith, KWent, and Terry
New Bayon:Jeremy, KWig, Kimmi, Spencer, and Stephen
Angkor:Abi, Savage, Woo and Tasha

We got to see the fable of the Scorpion and the Frog play out again on Survivor. The frog is concerned about being stung, but agrees to carry the scorpion across the river after getting assurances. When the scorpion stings the frog halfway across and they both begin to drown, the frog asks, "why"? The scorpion replies, "it's in my nature". Can you guess who is this season's scorpion and this episode's frog? How many more will she sting before this season is over?

What did you think of the Hero's challenge? Did Savage redeem himself from his Pearl Islands shame? Did Angkor make the right choice? Will a new majority alliance form to take out the original Bayon ten? Can Abi survive another episode? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the new tribes after episodes 4.
New Ta Keo:Ciera, Joe, Kass, Keith, KWent, and Terry
New Bayon:Jeremy, KWig, Kimmi, Monica, Spencer, and Stephen
Angkor:Abi, Savage, Woo and Tasha

Drop your buffs and hope for the best because many elements of Survivor come down to the pure luck of the draw. If it goes your way, you might end up on a tribe like new Ta Keo that will likely dominate the challenges and may never go to Tribal Council. If you end up on a tribe like Angkor, at a beach with no resources, about the most you can count on is having a good story to tell if you make it out alive and still in the game before the merge. How do you feel about the new tribes?

Who gained the most from the shuffle? Do you think Jeremy will keep the HII to himself? Will Varner be able to recover? How far do you think Abi will make it in the game now? Will the original alliances survive the shuffle? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the new tribes after episodes 3.
New Ta Keo:Ciera, Joe, Kass, Keith, KWent, and Terry
New Bayon:Jeremy, KWig, Kimmi, Monica, Spencer, and Stephen
Angkor:Abi, Savage, Varner, Woo and Tasha

They are classic Survivor sins: overconfidence which leads to a false sense of comfort. Anytime a castaway becomes convinced that they are "calling the shots", safe and in control, you can almost guarantee that they are not long for the game. The editors are really emphasizing the "no change equals no chance" theme. Shirin and Spencer both get called out for making the same mistakes as their first season and they are immediately on the chopping block. Likewise with Stephen Fishbach. They have all been portrayed as cold hearted gamebots that haven't adapted and thus are at risk to leave the game early. Will the shuffle help or hurt Fishbach and Spencer?

How did you feel about Shirin's lack of support for Abi? Was Abi right to take some gleeful revenge? Were you surprised by Woo's response to Shirin and Spencer's pleas? How did you view Savage's speech about his wife? What did you think of his description of Fishbach? Who would you have kept: Shirin or Spencer? How do you think the shuffle to 3 tribes will impact the game? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episodes 2.
Ta Keo:Abi-Maria, Jeff, KWent, KWig, Peih-Gee, Spencer, Terry, and Woo
Bayon:Savage, Ciera, Jeremy, Joe, Kass, Keith, Kimmi, Monica, Stephen, and Tasha

Survivor season 31, Cambodia: Second Chance, is off to an exciting start! They managed to squeeze in a little something from all 20 castaways. It was encouraging to see no one got the classic "Purple Kelly" quiet treatment. Some are playing smart, a select few, not so much having fallen back into old habits. We even got two big surprises: "immediate" Tribal Council and our first blindside.

How did your assessments of the new castaways change once you saw them in action? What did you think about the placement of the HII in the challenge? Who do you think is in control of each tribe? Who would you have kept: Abi or Vytas? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episodes 1.
Ta Keo:Abi-Maria, Jeff, KWent, KWig, Peih-Gee, Shirin, Spencer, Terry, and Woo
Bayon:Savage, Ciera, Jeremy, Joe, Kass, Keith, Kimmi, Monica, Stephen, and Tasha

Three cheers for the underdog! What an amazing story, against all odds, from pariah to sole survivor. This season stood out for having so many fans in the game. We learned quickly though that not all fans are created equal, and some of them struggle with basic, self awareness skills. Unfortunately, this season also brought with it some uncomfortable moments courtesy of some really mean, ugly exchanges between the castaways. So, it was really nice to see it end on such a high note with a great redemption angle.

What did you think of the final challenges? How important was the family visit? How did the final three do with answering the questions? Who in the jury asked the best and worst questions? What did you think of the reunion show? Did Shirin get closure? Where does this season rank for you amongst the other 29? Who are you most looking forward to see play from the new cast in season 31?

We're having technical difficulties with the voicemail line. You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Listener Feedback is due by Saturday Noon PST. Please keep it to 3 minutes or less.
