Survivor Fans Podcast (recap)
Jo Ann and Stacy follow the hit reality show Survivor.

We were right in the middle of an action packed merge episode and a microscopic bug had to go and ruin it all. That's twice now that a fan favorite has been medically evacuated this season, and we really hope it doesn't happen again. To have what appeared to be a really good player removed from the game at this stage really seemed to let the air out of the episode too.

What do you think Aubrey's next move should be? Will we get to see a women's alliance? Will the Brawn and Beauty alliance hold together? Who do you think upset Cydney? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 7.
Dara: Aubry, Debbie, Joe, Cydney, Jason, Scot, Julia, Nick, Michele, Tai

We all generally enjoy watching someone playing at a level above and beyond their peers, demonstrating a mastery of the game. But push that a little too far, especially by starting to brag about yourself, and you can easily be perceived as arrogant. Survivor loves to deliver a comeuppance story for an arrogant player, especially ones who turn out to be all talk and no do. Many fans have been waiting since episode three for tonight's story to reach its satisfying conclusion.

How did you do with your pre season picks for who would make the merge? Is there a USB change in your future? Who is going to emerge as the controlling alliance? Will we see a women's alliance? Who is a likely final four? Who is going to win it all? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 6.
Gondol: Aubry, Joe, Julia, Scot, Tai
Chan Loh: Cydney, Debbie, Jason, Neal, Nick, Michele

Are you especially overconfident about your position in the game and feeling like you want to test the Survivor Gods? Then by all means, exclaim for the camera about how much "you really love a blindside". The editors must really love those moments. No merge for you!

Who do you think came out of the shuffle in the best position? Who will Jason and Cydney side with on Chan Loh? Will Peter make the merge, or will his arrogance finally get the best of him? Will we see a Super Idol in play this season? Who's setting themselves up for being in the best position at the merge? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 5.
Gondol: Aubry, Joe, Peter, Scot, Tai
To Tang: Julia
Chan Loh: Cydney, Debbie, Jason, Neal, Nick, Michele

They warned us that this was going to be the most brutal season yet, and it certainly delivered on day 9. Having three castaways collapse at a challenge isn't the kind of historical event we hope for when we sit down to watch a new episode of our favorite show. It was scary seeing them in that precarious state. Let's hope we're done with evacuations and collapsing castaways for this season.

Do you think Brawn deliberately lost the challenge? Would you want to see Caleb return in a future season? Who do you think is most likely to become a free agent and betray their original tribe? Who do you think will end up in control regardless of how the shuffled tribes play out? Do you think Peter redeemed himself? Do you think Jason will stay loyal to Cydney to the end? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episodes 4.
Gondol/Beauty:Anna, Julia, Michele, Nick, and Tai
To Tang/Brawn:Cydney, Jason, and Scot
Chan Loh/Brains:Aubry, Debbie, Joseph, Neal, and Peter

OK, that qualifies as our first big blindside of the season! Over confidence and playing the long game well before the merge are classic rookie mistakes. What did you think about Probst's post tribal comments about the significance of emotional intelligence in the game?

Of the remaining castaways, who do you think has the most emotional intelligence? Who would you have kept: Liz or Peter? How has your opinion of Debbie changed? What surprised you the most this week? Are you expecting that we will lose a castaway to a medical evacuation in episode four? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episodes 3.
Gondol/Beauty:Anna, Caleb, Julia, Michele, Nick, and Tai
To Tang/Brawn:Alecia, Cydney, Kyle, and Scot
Chan Loh/Brains:Aubry, Debbie, Joseph, Neal, and Peter

Well, that took an interesting turn. We certainly didn't see that coming. Have you ever seen someone disassemble their own game so quickly and effectively? Does it count as a blindside if you unintentionally make the case to have yourself voted out? We have also been surprised by how the tribes are performing in the challenges. We are two for two at under estimating the Brains tribe. We think Alecia deserves this week's award for "most improved castaway".

Who would you have kept: Jenny or Alecia? Do you think Tai will be able to recover the HII? Who do you think will find it on the Brawn tribe? Who will end up in control at the Brains camp? What surprised you the most this week? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episodes 2.

That was a fitting end to an amazing season. It started back at the beginning with the fans helping select the castaways, which resulted in a superior level of gameplay. Then, we got multiple tribe shuffles which forced a focus on short term survival, and they turbo charged it all with multiple hidden immunity idols that had to be retrieved in plain site. It's sad to be at the end, but it was a super season worth celebrating, the likes of which we will likely not see again for quite a while.

What did you think of the final challenges? How did the final three do with answering the jury's questions? Who in the jury asked the best and worst questions? What did you think of the reunion show? Where does this season rank? What are your thoughts on season 32? Are you ready for multiple medical evacuations and another round of Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty?

Finally, after 35 days, the most ephemeral, emotional, difficult to work with castaway of the season was finally removed from the game. Probst really nailed it in his post Tribal summary, "this is the most unpredictable season in the history of the game". It's anyone's guess how this one is going to play out, especially since we're going into the finale with 6 castaways still in the hunt.

Was now the right time to get rid of Abi? Which final 3 are in the best position to make it to the end? Do you think we'll see the two remaining HIIs played? What's the most unlikely final 3 alliance you can think of? Will you be disappointed if any of the remaining six win? Who deserves it the most? Who do you think will win it all?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 13.

It's family visit time! Probst seemed intent on wringing every last bit of emotion out of this one, and we got closure for several story lines that were set up back at the beginning of the season for Jeremy, Spencer, and Joe. The most significant moment for this episode will surely be the end to a big story arc with Joey Amazing finally pushing himself to the limit and coming up short. No doubt, there were many sad Survivor fans tonight.

What did you think about this family visit? Did it hit you harder than in previous seasons? What did you think of the decision to get rid of Joe? What are the chances that Kimmi's plan for an all women's alliance might happen? Which would be better for Tasha? Who do you think will end up being the swing vote: Keith or Tasha? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 12.

Probst summed it up best, we are certainly in the midst of an unpredictable season. Who would have thought Joe could survive without winning individual immunity, or that Jeremy would save Fishbach, or better yet that Wentworth would find another HII? As Survivor fans, we certainly have a lot to be thankful for with this season.

What did you think of Jeremy's move to save Fishbach? The immediate returns were short lived, but will it buy him anything down the road? What did you think of how Fishbach used his advantage? Who will get the credit for taking out Fishbach? What happens to Jeremy, Tasha and Kimmi now? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after episodes 10 and 11.
