Jo Ann and Stacy follow the hit reality show Survivor.

One of the many things that we are thankful for is that you choose to share your enjoyment of watching Survivor with us each week by providing content for the Listener Feedback shows.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us, share your views on the most recent episode and your predictions for what you think we can expect next. Several people took a guess at what the "Next on Survivor" clips might be alluding to. Many of you enjoyed episode 9, and Belinda offered up a great "what if" scenario from back in episode 8.

This week we hear from: Kimberly, Kathy, Doug, Christy, Robin, Brad, Belinda, MikeK, and Paul.

We love hearing what you thought about each episode, and we've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Last week Courtney helped rid us of JR, and this week she indirectly helped show Frosti the door too.

Denise evidently wasn't mad enough to turn the tables on the power trio. PG did everything she could to get voted out and then messed everything up by winning immunity. Is Erik Amanda's new mimbo? Will that give him a free ride to the final five? What's going to happen next at tribal council?

Here's the new merged tribe after episode 9.
Hae Da Fung: Amanda, Courtney, Denise, Erik, James, Peih-Gee, and Todd

Ok, so she was due to win something eventually. In the next episode, it'll be back to business as usual, and we therefore believe that PG will finally get the boot.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out?

We were glad to hear that some of you enjoyed the interview with JR. It was certainly a difficult one for us, so it's great to hear that several of you got something out of it.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us, share your views on the most recent episode and your predictions for what you think we can expect next. This week we get to hear several theories on who's going next. The frontrunners are Frosti, Courtney, and of course PG. There are also some really interesting scenarios for how Denise and or Erik could shift the power away from Amanda, Todd, and James. We love this stage in the game where it becomes possible to consider a multitude of possibilities that could arise to shake the game up. You guys are totally on top of it as we look back at episode 8 and provide another great Listener Feedback show.

This week we hear from: Kimberly, Kathy, Doug, Robin, Graham, Carol, Paul, MikeK, and Brian

We love hearing what you thought about each episode, and we've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). The intro music is dedicated to Jean Robert. He was by far our most challenging interview to date. The outro is dedicated to Frosti. His association with Courtney doesn't look like the wisest choice he could make for his future. Courtney finally got her revenge. Interestingly enough, she didn't seem to take much pleasure in it.

Do you think the original Fei Long members made a tactical error by alienating Denise this week? Is there control in jeopardy? Can you think of any way that Erik, Frosti or PG could make it to final 3?

Here's the new merged tribe after episode 8.

Service Outage Update: We're sorry for the delay in posting this episode of the show. Our hosting provider has experienced multiple outages which started last night. We've received no notification that the problem has been fixed, but I'm going to post this in hopes that the service has been fully restored.

Priceless. That's the most common description in your feedback this week for the scene at Tribal Council where Jaime's Hidden Immunity Idol is revealed to be a fake.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us, share your views on the most recent episode and your predictions for what you think we can expect next. This week we get an update from Listener Fancy, a variety of predictions for who will go next along with the reasoning, and Brian entertains us with a story about James' pants.

Wow, it finally happened. Someone actually played a fake Hidden Immunity Idol. We've been waiting for that moment since Austin toyed with the idea of creating a fake idol back in season 12, Survivor Exile Island.

Do you think Courtney's really trying to win the $1M? What's the best way to handle someone who's still in the game, but doesn't really want to be there? Who knew James was such a comedian? Do you think Jamie was embarrased at tribal when her idol was revealed to be a fake? What was your favorite moment from episode 7?

Here's the new merged tribe after episode 7.
Hae Da Fung: Amanda, Courtney, Denise, Eric, Frosti, Jean-Robert, James, Peih-Gee, and Todd

If they stick to the plan, we think PG will be next go.

Are you having a hard time guessing who will be voted out this week? The SFP listeners aren't. They've got it all figured out.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. It looks like the heat's back on Jean Robert this week. Lot's of folks think he's back on the chopping block. Or, maybe it will be Jaime. She got a few votes in today's show. Then there's Eric. If he goes sneaking through James' bag and steals an HII, he might get voted out on principle. Let's not forget Courtney. She seems to go out of her way to alienate her alliance members. Anyone hungry? I think Jo Ann's cooking up another batch of those JSFL Voted Out waffles. :)

This episode could just have easily been titled: When Good Plans Go Bad. Jaime and PG abandoned their plan to carve off Fei Long members when they discover that Sherea and Frosti may not be in their alliance after all. Todd's plan to discover the Hidden Immunity Idol and to control the outcome of the immunity challenge folded like a lawn chair. Todd seems to be sputtering out without Aaron there to guide the way.

Why do you think Todd felt a burning need to share the HII with so many people? Did your opinion of Jean Robert change any after seeing Sherea and Courtney attack him at tribal council? What did you think when Jaime showed up at the reward challenge wearing Aaron's jacket like a trophy?

Here's the tribes after episode 6.
Fei Long: Amanda, Courtney, Denise, Frosti, Jean-Robert, and Todd
Zhan Hu: Eric, Jaime, James, and Peih-Gee

James got a reprieve and with the merge coming he'll likely stay another episode or two as the orignal Fei Long tribe works to remove the remaining Zhan Hu members. Jo Ann thinks Eric will be next to go. Stacy thinks it will be time for Jaime to pay for throwing that challenge.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out?

From this week's Listener Feedback, it appears that the heat has temporarily diminished for Jean Robert and focused instead on PG and Jaime. Some believe it a masterstroke, others maintain that throwing a challenge is a classic Survivor Sin which only results in your impending doom. Either way, we're enjoying the drama.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. John and Brian take us to task for abandoning James too soon, we're split as to whether this was the first ever justified challenge sabotage, but everyone's upset with Jamie and PG for laughing and giving it away.

This season keeps delivering classic Survivor moments that we all enjoy. Just when both tribes get settled in and comfortable, everything gets turned upside down.

Zhan Hu's interpretation of the "kidnap switch" was priceless. The bond between Denise and James was a bit of a surprise, and it appears that a showmance, another classic Survivor goof, is developing between Jaime and Eric.

What did you think of PG's plan to throw the challenge? Jean Robert is working to save himself, but do you think he stands a chance? Who's really calling the shots in Zhan Hu now? Do you think James might actually quit without being voted out?

Here's the tribes after episode 5.
Fei Long: Amanda, Courtney, Denise, Frosti, Jean-Robert, Sherea, Todd
Zhan Hu: Eric, Jaime, James, and Peih-Gee

James basically quit in this episode, so it seems only natural to expect that he'll be the next to go.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). The intro song this week is dedicated to the shake up that hit both teams this week. The outro is dedicated to PG, Jaime, and Eric. They made the most of their underdog status and hatched a plan to even things up before the merge. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Topics from this week's Listener Feedback include: the horseshoe that Todd evidently sat on at some point in his past, Sherea's work ethic, Jean Robert's mandarin skills, and wait for it.... Denise speaks!

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. Jean Robert miraculously banked more good will with Fei Long this week, but listener Kathy still thinks he's creepy. We're all enjoying the uber aggressive physical challenges and generally seem to be enjoying this season significantly more than last season. There are several theories in the feedback this week, but it's anyone's guess as to what will really happen given the tribal shuffle we're looking at in episode 5.

This week we hear from: Kathy, John, Kimberly, Marina, Randy, Brad, Taz, Mike, Paul, and Brian

We love hearing what you thought, and We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). The intro music is dedicated to Jean Robert. It's safe to say that most if not all of us were blown away when he broke out his rusty Mandarin skills to help make the most of the reward. The outro is dedicated to all the changes we're expecting in episode 5. Just when you think you have it figured out, they switch the tribes around. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Episode 4 offers up another classic Survivor dilema. Who do you value more: a workhorse in camp or someone that helps you win challenges?

Dave's erratic behavior and caustic leadership style finally led to his downfall. We got to see a new side of Sherea too. Fei Long resumes their winning streak, and Todd is quite possibly the luckiest person to ever play the game.

Why do you think Fei Long chose to kidnap Dave? What do you think of Jean Robert now? Do you think his tribemates are really buying into his come from behind strategy? Who will emerge as the new leader in Zhan Hu and will they be able to to convince Sherea to actually do some work in camp?

Here's the tribes after episode 4.
Fei Long: Aaron, Amanda, Courtney, Denise, James, Jean-Robert, Todd
Zhan Hu: Eric, Frosti, Jaime, Peih-Gee, Sherea

Given that we're looking at a tribe shuffle next week, Jo Ann says she's got no clue who will be voted out next. Stacy's going to go with Courtney since she appears to have the least to offer any tribe.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). From this week's feedback, we all seemed to really enjoy the surprises in episode 3.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. Once again, Jean Robert's "strategy" is a hot button topic for many listeners. Courtney sparked many comparisons to the infamous flubbed final four fire starting challenge between Becky and Sundra in Survivor Cook Islands as well as Jaime's rope cutting fiasco from episode 5 of Survivor Guatemala. Several folks expressed a strong disappointment in Leslie's choices given our affinity for true fans of the show.

This week we hear from: Jennie, Bill, Belinda, Toledo Dave, Brian, Kathy, Taz, Brad, Paul, Graham, Sandi, MikeK, and JoshuaJ

Woohoo!

We got to do a phone interview with Leslie Nease today, and we can't wait to share it with you.

Like a lot of you, we've been really missing the extra "behind the scenes" info we used to get from watching Survivor Live. Each TV episode condenses 3 days down to about 45 minutes minus the commercials. We all know there's lots more that happens that we don't get to see.

So, when we were offered the opportunity to do interviews this season, we were really excited and started thinking about how to ask questions to provide some extra details about Leslie's experience, her fellow Survivors and life at Fei Long's camp.

Let us know if you enjoyed the interview. We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Wow, episode 3 of Survivor China was packed with even more twists, turns and surprises than last week!

Daffy Dave continued to berate his tribemates with wacky outbursts, developed a new compulsion to clean things in his outdoor surroundings, and decided to compete in the reward challenge by stripping down to his birthday suit. Amazingly, Zhan Hu easily won both challenges. Ok, so no one was surprised to find out that Courtney was worthless in a physical challenge. Leslie, the Christian Radio Host, turns out to be the least trusted person in the game.

Who do you think is really pulling the strings in Fei Long? Could Jean Robert emerge as the "puppet master" of the tribe in spite of his apparent lack of a social game? How do you think the two tribes compare now?

Here's the tribes after episode 3.
Fei Long: Aaron, Amanda, Courtney, Denise, James, Jean-Robert, Todd
Zhan Hu: Dave, Eric, Frosti, Jaime, Peih-Gee, Sherea

We're betting that Zhan Hu's victory will be short lived, and we're going to pick Dave again as next to go.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Everyone we heard from this week really enjoyed episode 2, and several of you offered up some great observations on how this season is shaping up.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. This week's themes focus on praise for Todd's skillful play, condemnation of Jean Robert's "lazy man" strategy, destructive Dave's spiral into oblivion, and the potential impact of the Hidden Immunity Idol along with some parting shots at Ashley.

This week we hear from: Kathy, Ali, Taz, Brad, Randy, Jeannie, Graham, and Paul

We love hearing what you thought, and We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). The intro music is dedicated to Ashley, Chicken, Dave, and well the whole Zhan Hu tribe. The outro is also dedicated to Zhan Hu since we're sure they're not done destroying their own tribe with endless bickering and poor decisions. Survivor's back, and they're already kicking the drama and action into high gear with episode 2.

In a bit of an uncommon twist, both tribes seem to really want and need leaders. Ashley's choice to continually go after Dave led to her downfall. When is it ok or safe to challenge the leader of the tribe?

What do you think about JR's "lazy man" strategy? For Leslie, there's no question. It truly is better to give than to receive. Do you think she chose well? What will happen when someone else in her tribe gets a clue and tells everyone else how it works? What do you think about how the challenges are shaping up?

Here's the tribes after episode 2.
Fei Long: Aaron, Amanda, Courtney, Denise, James, Jean-Robert, Leslie, Todd
Zhan Hu: Dave, Eric, Frosti, Jaime, Peih-Gee, Sherea

We both think that Zhan Hu will lose the next immunity challenge too, and we're picking Dave as next to go.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out?

Welcome back Survivor Fans!

One of the cardinal rules of Survivor is, "Don't isolate yourself." It's interesting to contrast how James and Chicken handled the early stage of the game. James, a self professed loner, accepted and bonded with Leslie and got tips for how to better fit into the tribe. Chicken took every opportunity to point out what he thought his tribemates were doing wrong and consistently chose to physically stand apart from them. While he was busy complaining about how they couldn't work together, five of his tribemates banded together to decide he didn't deserve to keep playing. We're in the 15th season now and we still see people who show up to play and not realize it's primarily a social game.

Do you think Peih-Gee will be able to keep it together to lead her team to victory? Will Dave and Peih-Gee fight over who's really the leader? What happened to Zhan Hu at the end of the challenge?

Do you think anyone in Zhan Hu really thinks that Dave is being sincere? What did Jean-Robert gain from accusing Todd of being devious and clever?

Here's the tribes after episode 1.
Fei Long: Aaron, Amanda, Courtney, Denise, James, Jean-Robert, Leslie, Todd
Zhan Hu: Ashley, Dave, Eric, Frosti, Jaime, Peih-Gee, Sherea

We both think that Zhan Hu will lose the next immunity challenge too. Jo Ann thinks Peih-Gee will be next. Stacy thinks it will be Ashley.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out?

Welcome Back!

Thanks for joining us for the kickoff of the 15th season of Survivor. This marks our 6th season of what we refer to as one of our life's simple pleasures. Basically, we enjoy watching Survivor and talking about it with our friends, and we begin each season with our "Judge a Book by its Cover" show.

We want to hear what you think about the 16 new contestants for Survivor China.
This early in the game, there's really not a lot to go on which makes this show so much fun. Study the pictures at cbs.com, read their bios and let us know how well you think they will do this season.

Who's your pick for the first one voted out?

Go out on a limb, and tell us who you think will win it all.

Which ones do you think will make the merge and who just doesn't stand a chance?

If you're interested in participating in the Jo Ann & Stacy Show Survivor Fantasy League(JSFL), send an email to jsfl.admin@gmail.com with JSFL in the subject line to let us know, and we'll add you to the roster and send you additional instructions. Dreamz says he had it all planned. For him, it was always just a game. He says he knew what he was doing all along, and Cassandra backed him up at the Reunion Show, commenting on how smart he was. Do you believe them?

Do you think Earl was right to vote against Yau-Man? Would he have stood a chance against him in the end?

Were you surprised to find out that Earl said he had never seen Survivor? Do you think that makes his win more pure than other recent winners?

You've got one more shot to share your views on Survivor Fiji. We'll be doing the final Listener Feedback show for this season on Thursday, 5/17. We're looking forward to hearing from you one more time.

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Here is the tribe after episode 13.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? Will Dreamz really honor the deal?

Based on the responses we got this week, many of you were annoyed with Alex's failed attempt to sway the weaklings and struggled to understand why Boo and Stacy refuse to wise up and attempt to better their position in the game.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. Episode 12 focused on Alex's last ditch attempt to sway everyone to vote out Yau-Man, and finished with a teaser as Yau-Man finally becomes a target. Several folks took the time this week to share their perspective on how it all played out as well as what we can expect in the next episode.

This week we hear from: Carol, Jeannie, Brad, Paul, Graham, Brian, MikeK, and Sandi.

MikeK found an extra preview that includes a view of the truck that Ford provided for the infamous "Car Curse Challenge". You can find it in the links section below.

We love hearing what you thought, and we've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

The intro song is dedicated to Alex and Earl who both did the spy thing in episode 12. The outro song is dedicated to Yau-Man and what we're guessing will be his "Let's Make a Deal" plan for episode 13. Here's a link to the artists so can learn more about them.

When the Lion Act bombs and Plan Scarface stumbles, what's a media savy lawyer to do? Duh, you become a ninja of course!

Who's Cassandra tighter with: Earl or Dreamz? Do you think Dreamz could really convince anyone to vote with him against Yau-Man?

Did Stacy blow her cover by reaching out to Alex? What do you think the big controversy will be? Will we finally see someone break "the car curse"?

Here is the new merged tribe after episode 12.
Bula Bula: Boo, Cassandra, Dreamz, Earl, Stacy, and Yau-Man

Jo Ann and I think Boo, AKA Chatty Kathy, will be the next to go.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? Go ahead, be brave. Who's going to make final four?

Based on this batch of feedback, lots of you are thinking that episode 12 will be Alex's big chance.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. Episode 11 focused on Alex and Mookie's promise to cause lots of drama but ended with a bit of a fizzle. Alex redeemed himself somewhat by casting the single vote that sent Mookie packing, but he's going to have to work awfully hard to survive another round. Several folks took the time this week to share their perspective on how it all played out as well as what we can expect in the next episode.

This week we hear from: Jeannie, Paul, Brad, Bob, MikeK, Sandi, Graham, Carol, and Brian.

We love hearing what you thought, and we've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

The intro song is dedicated to Alex who unwittingly cast the single vote required to ensure that he would get to hang around for at least one more episode. The outro song is dedicated to Boo and Dreamz who can't seem to stop talking. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Good riddance to the thug!

Do you think Alex will dodge a bullet with his ninja like skills? What are his chances for "pulling an Ozzy" and winning immunity each week as the Syndicate is forced to pick each other off?

Did Stacy's stock increase again this week? She seemed very effective at placating Dreamz. Do you think she's taken the role as Earl's new spy?

Here is the new merged tribe after episode 11.
Bula Bula: Alex, Boo, Cassandra, Dreamz, Earl, Stacy, and Yau-Man

Jo Ann and I think Alex, despite his "impressive lawyer skills", will be the next to go.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? Can you see any way for Alex to turn the tide in his favor and pull an upset?

It's unanimous! That was the best episode this season.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. Episode 10 included some of the best twists and turns and strategic gameplay that we've ever seen on Survivor. And we finally get to see an HII played. Several folks took the time this week to share their perspective on how it all played out as well as what we can expect in the next episode.

Let's kick it up a notch!

Last week hailed the return of the old Survivor that we know and love. Now, this week we get an episode so filled with twists and turns and real strategic gameplay that it ranks up with some of the best episodes in Survivor history.

Did Stacy improve her chances of a possible final 3 this week or will she be relegated to a solid 5th place? Do you think she could improve her chances by flipping back to Alex and Mookie?

Who do you think is playing the smarter game: Boo, Cassandra, or Stacy? Is Dreamz a master strategist or merely an occasional visitor of this planet?

Here is the new merged tribe after episode 10.
Bula Bula: Alex, Boo, Cassandra, Dreamz, Earl, Mookie, Stacy, and Yau-Man

Jo Ann thinks Dreamz will go next. Stacy thinks Mookie the thug will finally get the boot.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? Can you see any way for Alex and Mookie to save themselves?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Bula Bula!

The real Survivor is finally back. It only took 9 episodes, but they finally got it back on track. Break out your dog eared copies of The Art of War and The Prince. It's time to get down to some serious strategy sessions.

Do you think Earl and Yau-Man stand a chance against Alex and Edgardo? Will Cassandra become Earl's new spy now that Michelle is gone?

In the "Next on Survivor" preview, we see that Dreamz spills the beans to Earl about the HII that Mookie is holding. Will Earl reciprocate? Or, will he create a master plan to rid Alex of that asset?

Here is the new merged tribe after episode 9.
Bula Bula: Alex, Boo, Cassandra, Dreamz, Earl, Edgardo, Mookie, Stacy, and Yau-Man

Jo Ann thinks Dreamz will go next. Stacy is taking the safe route and thinks it will be Boo.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? If Alex finds out that Mookie voted for Stacy, will he be forced to switch alliances and join Earl? Will we finally get to see the Hidden Immunity Idol played in the next episode?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

The intro is to celebrate the fact that the Survivor we know and love is back. No more of this luxury camp crap and it looks like the folks that are left in the game actually want a shot at winning instead of "a great experience". This stage in the game is where it gets really interesting and there are a multitude of strategies to consider. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

This episode of Listener Feedback is dedicated to the expungement of Lisi's memory and a refocusing on the strategic angles and post merge possibilities of Survivor Fiji.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. Episode 8 focused primarily on Lisi and Yau-Man, two "active recruits" for this season who couldn't be more different from each other in how they approached the show.

This week we hear from: James, Carol, Amy, Paul, Brad, Sandi, Fancy, Brian, and MikeK

Listener's Dan and Katie offered a screencap of Lisi that really highlights her resemblance to Nelson on The Simpsons. Lisi's Resemblance

Check out the video they put together recalling some of her finer moments on the show in the links section below.

We love hearing what you thought, and We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

All the songs are dedicated to Lisi. She never should have been on Survivor. The best thing you can say about Lisi is that her incompetence  was at times entertaining. Check out the video Dan and Katie provided via the links section below with music by Fugue for some of the best examples. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Lisi meet Osten Taylor from Survivor Pearl Islands. You two have a lot in common and should really hit it off.

What would your strategy be if you were on a tribe with Lisi? Would you convince her to stay to help shore up your alliance while voting off Dreamz because the merge and individual immunity are imminent?

Do you think Mookie or Yau Man will really share the Hidden Immunity Idols?

Here are the tribes after episode 8.
New Moto: Earl, Boo, Cassandra, Michelle, Stacy, and Yau-Man
New Ravu: Alex, Dreamz, Edgardo, and Mookie

We say they'll merge in the next episode and Earl will be the next to go.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? Will the original Moto tribe reunite and run the boards on old Ravu? Will we see the Hidden Immunity Idol get used in the next episode?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Let's celebrate the defeat of Rocky and the rise of Yau-Man!

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. Episode 7 focused primarily on Rocky, Lisi, and Yau-Man with some extra spice from Edguardo, Boo, and Michelle.

Here's a quick Rocky Retrospective. He's the biggest hypocrite to the play the game since Judd in Survivor Guatemala. He caused his team to lose challenges like Erika, he dressed like a girl while accusing Anthony of being too feminine, and got voted off because he couldn't stop talking like Rita. Let's hear what the listeners had to say about him in this week's show.

This week we hear from: Rumarie, James, Jeannie, Brad, Paul, Tim, Graham, Brian and MikeK

Both songs are dedicated to Yau-Man. His star is rising. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Yau-Man Rocks!

Do you think having the Hidden Immunity Idol will guarantee that he makes final 3?

Rocky's mouth finally got him voted off. But unfortunately, he's on the jury now. What do you think the chances are that he'll start running his mouth from the jury and be the first one to be kicked off the show?

Here are the tribes after episode 7.
New Moto: Earl, Boo, Cassandra, Michelle, Stacy, and Yau-Man
New Ravu: Alex, Dreamz, Edgardo, Lisi, and Mookie

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? What do you think was making Lisi cry?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Are you up for another dose of Listener Feedback? Rocky and Lisi's actions in episode 6 certainly evoked some strong responses.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. We've got some passionate folks out there in the audience this week, along with several strategists, and quite possibly the most expensive bid to garner a JSFL "Voted Out" point that we've ever observed.

This week we hear from: Graham, Tim, Brad, Taz, JoshuaJ, Carol, James, Jeannie, Josh, Paul, Brian, MikeK, and Sandi

We love hearing what you thought, and We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). The intro music is dedicated to Anthony. He never did figure out how to adapt to his tribe. The outro music is dedicated to the new tribes. Tribe mix-ups are great to sort out who really knows how to play the game. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

The Moto tribe continues their total domination in the challenges!

Camp luxury and plenty of food continues to make a difference. You can swap out half of the tribe and they still win.

What did you think of Rocky's life advice to Anthony?

What would your strategy be if you had Anthony on your tribe? Would he be the perfect patsy or would you discard him as soon as possible?

Here are the tribes after episode 6.
New Moto: Earl, Boo, Cassandra, Michelle, Stacy, and Yau-Man
New Ravu: Alex, Dreamz, Edgardo, Lisi, Mookie, and Rocky

Jo Ann thinks Lisi will the be the next to go. Stacy thinks it will be Stacy.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? Will Moto's winning streak end before the merge? Will Lisi be the next target at Ravu or will she turn the tables on Rocky?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). We've got a special edition of the podcast for you tonight.

When we read an email from listener Kris in Texas back before Survivor Fiji started, we knew it was one that we wanted to share with you. With Survivor being on hiatus to make room for March Madness this week, we decided it was the perfect time to highlight his story.

He has been able to bring the challenge and adventure of Survivor to the students at his school. Check out the details and especially the video at the Survivor Summer Camp link below and see what a great job he and the crew have done in pulling together a Survivor experience for the students at the high school where he teaches math.

Here's Kris doing a great Probst imitation at Survivor Summer Camp Tribal Council. The Tribe Has Spoken

The intro song is dedicated to Kris. He's got a great story that we felt compelled to share with our audience. The outro music is dedicated to all those awesome Survivor Summer Camp contestants. We really enjoyed watching your video. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

It's time for the Fiji Episode 5 Listener Feedback show!

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. Episode 5 made some fans happy and others furious at the continued tribal imbalance. There was a strong showing from our southern listeners for this show. Where'd everybody else go? :)

This week we hear from: Bill, Brad, Taz, Brian, Paul, and Sandi

We love hearing what you thought, and We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

Our intro music is dedicated to Alex and his failed attempt to teach Boo, Lisi, and Stacy how to count to explain why they needed Dre and Cassandra. The outro music is dedicated to all the remaining Survivors and the upcoming tribal shuffle. Some of them will certainly get a new lease on life in the game once they re-pick the tribes. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Rocky, did you get the number of that bus?

One beat down coming right up! What was your favorite "Sumo at Sea" match-up?

Regardless of the devastating Reward Challenge win, we see that the demise of Moto is well underway as we expected. Do Lisi and Stacy remind you of anyone from Survivor Guatemala? Will sending them to Ravu camp be a fitting reward for their ugly behavior?

Do you think Alex and Edgardo can repair the damage and win Dre back? Or, will Dre take advantage of the tribe shuffle that's coming in episode 6 to turn the tables on them?

Here's the tribes after episode 5.
Moto: Alex, Boo, Cassandra, Dreamz, Edgardo, Lisi, and Stacy
Ravu: Anthony, Earl, Michelle, Mookie, Rocky, and Yau-Man

Jo Ann thinks Lisi will the be the next to go. Stacy believes that Cassandra will be the next female to make an exit from the island.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? Do you think the other tribe will stand a chance against Alex, Dre, Edgardo, Mookie, and Rocky regardless of which camp they end up in?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

Both songs this time are dedicated to Ravu and their decidedly disastrous performance throughout this season and especially in this episode. The only thing that is going to save them from besting Ulong's losing streak in Palau is the team shuffle. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

It's time for the Fiji Episode 4 Listener Feedback show!

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. Episode 4 gave us one of the best ever Survivor Dilemmas: Comfort or Immunity? Lot's of folks weigh in on that one, and many of you expressed an interest in starting a "Lisi Really Cares" fan club. So, we'll check on that for you.

This week we hear from: Carol, MikeK, Denver Dave, Jeannie, Josh, Brad, Paul, Taz, JoshuaJ, Bob, and Brian

Ok, the good news is, this should be the last time I do the show solo. Jo Ann's mom is doing better and on her way to recovering. She sends along her thanks for all the kind thoughts and prayers. Forgoing any surprises, Jo Ann will fly home tomorrow. We expect to be together for the Episode 4 Listener Feedback show on Tuesday. Woohoo!

What do you think would help Ravu more, voting off Anthony or Rocky?

Back in the extra video clips for episode 2, we saw that Liliana was suspicious of Stacy and Boo. She said they wanted to vote her out. Turns out she had good reason to be concerned. Do you think her fate was set earlier in the game or did the late night massage session trigger her demise?

The teams are even now. Do you think Moto still has enough advantage to continue dominating or should they have kept the immunity?

Here's the tribes after episode 4.
Moto: Alex, Boo, Cassandra, Dreamz, Edgardo, Lisi, and Stacy
Ravu: Anthony, Earl, Michelle, Mookie, Rocky, Rita, and Yau-Man

I'm on a roll now after successfully picking Gary to leave. ;) My next prediction is that Lisi will be voted out. They've established her as a minor villian for this season with her cold comments towards Gary and her attack on Liliana. Therefore, she's a natural to go next.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? Do you think Ravu has a shot at redemption?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

The intro music is dedicated to the two Ravu cry babys, Anthony and Rocky. The outro is dedicated to the Moto tribe. They've commited a classic Survivor Sin. They've gotten too comforable with their current status and opted to vote a member out instead of protecting their numbers. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

It's time for the Fiji Episode 3 Listener Feedback show!

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. Lots of folks are evidently getting pretty tired of the "Haves" vs "Have Nots" theme. While Sylvia wasn't a great castaway, she did make a pretty good interview on Survivor Live. She shared several previously unknown insights into the editing and what really happened to her on the slip-n-slide.

This week we hear from: Rumarie, Carol, MikeK, Fancy, Taz, Denver Dave, Bob, Sandi, Paul, Josh, Jeannie, Brian, Graham, and Brad

We love hearing what you thought, and We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Our intro music is dedicated primarly to Gary and Sylvia who both took severe knocks to the head in episode 3. The outro music is dedicated to Anthony. If he cries in episode 4 this week, I've already got another song picked out for him. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Here's a first. Jo Ann wasn't able to join me for tonights podcast, so I'm flying solo. Hopefully, she'll be back for the Listener Feedback show, but right now she's focused on helping her mom.

What would you do to fix Ravu? Would getting rid of Mookie help?

I can only recall two other seasons where the Survivors got fire without having the magnesium and flint firestarter. How many do you recall and which were they?

Why do you think Moto chose the second set of fishing gear instead of their luxury items?

Here's the tribes after episode 3.
Moto: Alex, Boo, Cassandra, Dreamz, Edgardo, Gary, Lilliana, Lisi, and Stacy
Ravu: Anthony, Earl, Michelle, Mookie, Rocky, Rita, and Yau-Man

I'm going to bite this time. I think Gary will vote himself out in the next episode.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? Do you think Gary is actually in jeporady or is it a classic misdirect from "the evil Mark Burnett"?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Can you believe it? We started this podcast two years ago today, Feb 15th, 2005.

One hundred and twenty one shows later and we're still cranking them out and still enjoying talking about Survivor with you. :)

Jo Ann and I are still doing the east coast/west coast thing, but we managed to sync up and chat about Survivor Fiji episode 2 tonight.

What did you think about Yau-Man scoping out Sylvia's haversack looking for the HII, Hidden Immunity Idol? Is he a smooth operator or did he get busted?

Have you ever been seriously dehydrated? Would you have eaten the snake?

Do you think Ravu made the best choice for the team?

Here's the tribes after episode 2.
Moto: Alex, Boo, Cassandra, Dreamz, Edgardo, Gary, Lilliana, Lisi, and Stacy
Ravu: Anthony, Earl, Michelle, Mookie, Rocky, Rita, Sylvia, and Yau-Man

Silly as it might seem, we both think Sylvia will be voted out next. That "Next on Survivor" clue is a misdirect. Are you buying it? :)

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? Who do you think is in crisis and having trouble breathing at Moto?

It's our first Listener Feedback show of the new season!

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. We've got a great mix of regulars and quite a few new voices, all with diverse takes on what happened in episode 1.

This week we hear from: Taz, Rumarie, Hanna, MikeK, Fancy, Sandi, Jeannie, Paul, Toledo Dave, Brian, JoshuaJ, Brad, and Carol

Thanks again for your patience with the audio quality. We had more than a few technical challenges pulling this particular show together. I tried my best to level the audio out, but there were some modulation problems on my side that I couldn't clean up. Hopefully, it will be only one more show before we're back together.

Our intro music continues the "new beginnings" theme and really gets the show kicked off with a rock solid beat. The outro music hints at the hardships we believe will come with episode 2. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Welcome back Survivor Fans!

For the first time, Jo Ann and I weren't able to watch the episode together, but we had a good time recapping it over the phone.

What would you do if you were Sylvia? Would you share the clue or keep it to yourself?

One of the worst things you can do is mess with other people's sleep. Do you think Dreamz will be the first voted out if Moto does manage to lose?

What did you think of Jessica? Did she remind you of Briana from Survivor Guatamala? They're both "make-up artists" and seemed to leave a similar impression with their tribemates.

Here's the tribes after episode 1.
Moto: Alex, Boo, Cassandra, Dreamz, Edgardo, Gary, Lilliana, Lisi, and Stacy
Ravu: Anthony, Earl, Erica, Michelle, Mookie, Rocky, Rita, Sylvia, and Yau-Man

We both think Sylvia will be voted out next.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Let's talk Survivor Fiji!

If you're a hardcore Survivor Fan you're going to love this preview show.

This is the biggest show we've ever done, weighing in a 1 hour 41 minutes. You might need to listen in chunks, but it's worth it. We've never had a more diverse take on the new Survivors. It's amusing, insightful, and delightful.

We've got listener feedback from: Josh, Carol, Denver Dave, Fancy, Kris, Brad, Paul, Bonnie, Hanna, and Bob.

Two quick corrections: Listener Josh is in Wisconsin, and Listener Bob picked Becky as first out last season (just like we did), not Ozzy. He picked Sekou as the Sole Survivor. :)

If you're interested in participating in the Jo Ann & Stacy Show Survivor Fantasy League(JSFL), send an email to jsfl.admin@gmail.com with JSFL in the subject line to let us know, and we'll add you to the roster and send you additional instructions. The prize this season will be similar to last season, e.g. a Survivor t-shirt or Survivor DVD Blast game. Not sure what the JSFL is? Check out the links section below for the rules we used last season along with the results.

Welcome Back!

Survivor's back for their 14th season, and this marks our 5th season of podcasts following along with all the twists and turns.

We begin each season with our "Judge a Book by its Cover" show.

We want to hear what you think about the 19 new contestants for Survivor Fiji.
There's not a lot of information to draw on. It's not clear yet how all these diverse people will interact with each other or what agendas they plan to follow throughout the game.
Study their pictures, read their bios and let us know how well you think they will do this season.

What do you think about the decision to divide the tribes into "priveleged vs the poor"?

Who's your pick for the first one voted out?

Go out on a limb, and tell us who you think will win it all.

Who will make the merge and who just doesn't stand a chance?

If you're interested in participating in the Jo Ann & Stacy Show Survivor Fantasy League(JSFL), send an email to jsfl.admin@gmail.com with JSFL in the subject line to let us know, and we'll add you to the roster and send you additional instructions. The prize this season will be similar to last season, e.g. a Survivor t-shirt or Survivor DVD Blast game. Not sure what the JSFL is? It's time for us to gather together one more time for a look back at Survivor 13: Cook Islands.

Fancy, Claudia, James, Brad, Paul, Dave, Kurt, Rob, Bob, Carol, Tim, Mike, Graham, and Brian help us close out the season with their perspective on the Finale.

That's it for us on Survivor Cook Islands. We're officially on hiatus till the Survivor 14 Fiji cast goes up on the cbs.com website.

In the meantime, let us know if you have any recommendations for the show or the JSFL, or just have a hankering to talk about Survivor with a friend.

We love hearing from other Survivor fans, and we've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). The Aitu 4 held strong and persevered all the way to the end.  That will certainly go down in Survivor history as one of the greatest comebacks ever. Who (besides Carol) would have thought they could overcome being outnumbered 8 to 4 back in episode 8?

Congratulations to Yul, winner Survivor Cook Islands!

Congratulations to Mona, winner JSFL Cook Islands!

I vote we rename this episode to: "A remarkable talent for stating the completely obvious"

In case you missed it. It turns out that Ozzy and Parvati represent a threat in the challenges as well as the end game, and Adam needs to win challenges.

Do you think there's any stopping Ozzy at this point?

Is there a chance that Adam was playing a very strategic game and actually chose to throw the immunity challenge to make sure he was viewed as less of a threat than Parvati?

Did Probst step over the line when he told the jury who returned Jonathan's hat?

Here is the tribe after episode 13.
Aitutonga: Adam, Becky, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul

We think Adam will be 5th out. If we get enough Listener Feedback, we'll put together another show on Saturday.

Who is your pick for who the next one to be voted out, who do you think will make final 3, and who's your pick to win it all?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). What's that?

You say you wish you had some friends to sit down with and talk about that last episode of Survivor?

Were you disappointed with the results of episode 12 and stunned at the apparent lack of thought that went into their decision at Tribal Council? There's just one more episode before the finale and so many things could happen.

No problem. We got you covered. :)

It's time for another Listener Feedback show where it's your chance to join us as co-hosts of our Survivor Fans Podcast and share your reaction, critique, analysis, and strategies for the events in episode 12 and the all the possible end game scenarios.

This week we hear from: Josh, Carol, Brad, James, Fancy, Bob, Hazel, Shawn, Paul, Dave, Mike, Sandi, Brian, Anonymous, and Josh

Ok, here's another of the Survivor golden rules that are frequently overlooked at this point in the game.

1) Don't vote solely with your emotions. Delay your need for instant gratification or for revenge. You are there to win a $1M. Stick with logic for the win. Remember Danni's example from Survivor Guatemala. You've got family to take care of and that's who you will be with when you get back. You'll very likely never see your fellow Survivors again six months after the finale.

Here are some questions to get us started for the Listener Feedback show.

You're Jonathan and can see the writing on the wall. What do you do to save yourself? Was there anything you think he should have tried?

Who does Yul have a stronger alliance with: Becky or Ozzy?

Did Yul or even the entire Aitu 4 just buy a couple of jury votes?

Who are your most and least desirable final three?

Here is the new merged tribe after episode 12.
Aitutonga: Adam, Becky, Parvati, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul

Next week's episode is titled "I Have the Advantage...for Once". Who do you think that applies to? We're gonna try this for a third time and guess that Adam is the next go in spite of the potential implications of the episode title.

Do you think Ozzy really needs to risk a change in alliances?

Who do you think will be voted out next?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

The intro music is dedicated to the Aitu Four. We suspect that by voting with their emotions instead of logic, that a "simple mistake" will become their undoing. The outro is dedicated to all the remaining tribe members he bought themselves some Peace of Mind this week at Tribal Council. Here are links to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

The intro and outro music for this show are dedicated to the "Raro brats": Adam, Candice, and Parvati. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Here's a couple of Survivor golden rules for all the future contestants.

1) No matter how good your chances are looking, don't gloat.
2) No matter how angry or desperate you get, don't lash out in anger.

Here are some questions to ponder for the Listener Feedback show.

Have you ever eaten an entire pizza by yourself, in one sitting?

Did it cost Yul anything when he revealed that he had the Hidden Immunity Idol during the auction?

Did it perhaps help Jonathan in any way?

When Yul, Becky, and Sundra were talking about "changing the order", what did they mean? Did they possibly have Jonathan as a fourth?

Do you think the jury is likely to be swayed by the Raro brats (Adam, Candice, and Parvati)?

Who did voting out Candice hurt more: Jonathan or Yul?

Here is the new merged tribe after episode 11.
Aitutonga: Adam, Becky, Jonathan, Parvati, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul

In the next on Survivor preview, Yul's talking about "arranging a hit", but we both think that's a misdirect and expect Adam to go next.

Are you surprised that "Jonathan the rat" is still in the game? Do you think Parvati will exit the game for medical reasons?

Who is your pick for who the next one to be voted out?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

The intro music is dedicated to the mature Raro tribe. When the tables are turned and they are no longer in control, they certainly know how to self destruct with maximum drama. The outro is dedicated to the Candice Water Works project. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.
