Be honest now. Did you really think he was going to switch, or were you sweating bullets like Jo Ann right up until that final vote was read? :)

Here are some questions to mull over for the Listener Feedback show.

So lots of us relish rooting for the underdogs, and we have a fresh set after this week's tribal council. Are you at all tempted to start pulling for Adam, Candice, or Parvati now?

Assumming Raro caught a clue during this episode, could they have arranged enough votes to nullify the Hidden Immunity Idol?

What was going on when Adam kept saying bananas?

Did Yul offer final 2 to Jonathan?

Do you think it's possible for Jonathan to be Sole Survivor now?

Here is the new merged tribe after episode 10.
Aitutonga: Adam, Becky, Candice, Jonathan, Parvati, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul

It's about individual immunity now and we think the Aitu four have a score to settle. Jo Ann and Stacy both think Adam will be the next to go.

With the return of the Prodigal Son, the tiny Aitu four appear to be in power. Will they rule the roost from here on out? Who is your pick for who the next one to be voted out?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

Both the intro and outro music this week are dedicated to Jonathan. Love him or hate him, he has certainly kept the game interesting. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Need a little more Survivor goodness while you deep fry the turducken and bake up some pumpkin pie?

We love gabbing about Survivor and so do our listeners.

This week we hear from: Carol, Brian, Bob, Denver Dave, Claudia, Paul, Bonnie, Brad, Sandi, Robert, and Mike

We got another bumper from a past Survivor. Lex van den Berghe did us the honor of opening up the show. Thanks Lex, and thanks again to listener Lisa!

Now that we're at the merge, listener Brian asks, "Given what you know now, who's your pick for Sole Survivor?"
Send us an email or call the voicemail and let us know who you think is going to win it all, and we'll post the results here on the page for everyone to see.

We love hearing what you thought, and we've got several ways you can reach us.

Our intro tune is basically what we're all thinking at this stage. Season 13 of Survivor has done a great job of making us ask, "What's Next?". The outro music highlights another element that really crops up at the merge. When individual immunity is at stake, we get to see the sneaky side of the Survivors as they start to scheme to hang around just one more week. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Now that's how you do a double elimination!

If you're rooting for the underdogs, you've got to be happy with how that turned out.

What do you think Nate is thinking after that last vote? He talks smack non-stop, but often seems to be completely out of the loop on the voting. Where does he stand in Raro now? Is he the solid #4 man or did he just get the boot to #5?

Episode 10 is titled, "Why Would You Trust Me?". Who do you think that's directed at?

What do you think Yul will propose as his great plan? Is he working on the plan because he's desperate to save someone or is it just forward looking strategy?
Just how far do think Jonathan can make it now? Do you think it's possible for him to make final 5?

Here are the tribes after episode 9.
Aitutaki: Becky, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul
Rarotonga: Adam, Candice, Jonathan, Nathan, Parvati

Time for the merge and that means individual immunity challenges! Jo Ann and Stacy both think Candice will be the next to go.

Who do you think will be the next one to be voted out?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

The intro music this week is dedicated to poor poor Candice. She just can't fathom how her "friends" could want her to suffer. The outro music is dedicated to the Raro tribe. They just suffered a major setback and the pucker factor has to be high in that camp after the double elimination. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Are you a fan of Survivor?

I don't mean a casual watcher. Someone who says, "Oh yeah I saw the episode where they were on that island".

I mean a real fan. The type that can sit down and talk about what happened in the last episode for over an hour and not think twice about it?

If you answered yes, then we've got a treat for you! It's called the Listener Feedback show and it's another whopper, chock full of new analysis, strategies and commentaries from other fans just like you from around the world. :)

We got a couple more congratulations messages from past Survivors thanks to Listener Lisa to share this week too. One of them makes us crack up laughing everytime we listen to it.
Thanks again Lisa!

This week we hear from: Coby from Survivor Palau, Brian, Hanna, James, Denver Dave, Claudia, Graham, Paul, Kurt, Carol, Brad, Bob, Sandi, Mike, and Billy from Survivor Cook Islands.

We love hearing what you thought, and we've got several ways you can reach us.

Our intro tune is dedicated to Candice and Jonathan. In hindsight, calling it a mistake may seem like an understatement. The outro music is dedicated to all the JSFL players who are contemplating their next step for episode 9. It's starting to get tricky now. You have to pick four safe players and the second person on the jury. Brian from Georgia is on hand to help you make your selection, so fear not and follow his sage advice. In the beginning, Yul said "If we break up now, then we're toast!". So saith Yul and so shall it be.

Here's a roleplaying assignment for this week's Listener Feedback show.
If you were Jonathan, who would most likely be voted out next on Aitu, do you stay if offered the chance to join the other tribe?
Now your on Aitu, what's the best thing you can say when asked what you think about your teammate's choice to mutiny?
You're Jonathan again, what's your cover story to explain to Raro why they should keep you?

Now for some conventional questions.
Why is Candice so eager to sell out Jonathan?
What is the significant information that the losing tribe will receive?
Why didn't we see anyone express concern that Jonathan might have the hidden immunity idol?
Do you think there's any chance now that someone from Aitu will make it to final four?

Here are the tribes after episode 8.
Aitutaki: Becky, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul
Rarotonga: Adam, Candice, Jenny, Jonathan, Nathan, Parvati, and Rebecca

Episode 9 is titled, "People That You Like Want to See You Suffer". It's another double elimination week. Jo Ann thinks it will be Sundra and Jonathan. Stacy thinks it will be Sundra and Jenny

Who are your picks for the next two that will be voted out?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Time for some more of that Listener Feedback goodness!

Listener Lisa arranged a special treat for our 100th episode but it didn't quite get to us before the celebration show. We really enjoyed it though and wanted to share it with you this week. Thanks Lisa!

Episode 7 was packed with action and everyone has a theory about the "mutiny" option. You guys had a lot to talk about. Let's get to it!

This week we hear from: Lisa, JoAnna Ward, Shelley, Bonnie, Toledo Dave, Ethan Zohn, Mike, Amy, Denver Dave, Bonnie (part 2), Mal Gal, Brian, Carol, Sandi, Bob, and Sarge

We love hearing what you thought, and we've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Our intro and outro tunes are once again dedicated to Jessica. She added value to the team in the challenges but never really caught on to the whole "Survivor is a game" concept and was finally discarded when the adults decided it was time for her to go home. With tonight's episode we see the last of the "I'm here for the experience" clueless players exit the game. We're finally down to a set of folks that are actually interested in playing to win which makes the stakes much higher and more interesting at each turn.
The tribes are at even numbers now. The merge can't be too far off. These next couple of episodes are going to be key in deciding which tribe enters the merge with the numbers to control their destiny.

Looks like Aitu's plan was to "kidnap" a powerful player and take them out of the game. Was that the best use of the kidnap option?
Is Brad the next to go on Rarotonga?
If you were Brad or Ozzy, would you switch tribes given the opportunity?
He feeds you. He's consistently been a key to winning physical challenges, but how long do you hold on to a powerhouse individual like Ozzy?

Here are the tribes after episode 6.
Aitutaki: Becky, Candice, Jonathan, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul
Rarotonga: Adam, Brad, Jenny, Nathan, Parvati, and Rebecca

Jo Ann thinks it will be Brad for Raro and Jonathan for Aitu. Stacy thinks it will be Brad or Ozzy.

Who is your pick for next to get voted out?

Hi Gang,

Well, we didn't see quite enough new material to do a show for today's episode. There were a few things that caught our interest, but we can easily work them into a future podcast.

If we get enough Listener Feedback we'll put out a podcast on Tuesday. Otherwise, we'll be back on Nov 2nd when the next episode titled "Why Aren't You Swimming?" airs.

Thanks for checking in,

Hi Everyone,

Our hosting provider hasn't got back to us on when we can expect a fix. They'll eventually figure out what's wrong and fix it, but this has happened before and dragged on for days.

Uploading the file again didn't make any difference either.

So, we have an alternative for you. It's a multi-step sequence and the file won't download directly into iTunes. You'll save it to your Mac/PC and then you can listen to it directly or you could add it to your iTunes library.

Here's the link to get you to episode 100.
JASS20061024.html

The file is hosted at RapidShare. When you click on the link, you'll need to scroll down and click on the FREE button.

That will take you to the 2nd page where you can choose which RapidShare network to download the file from (Cogent, Level-3, or Telia).  I chose Cogent when I tested it and it downloaded very fast.

You then need to enter the letters and numbers you see in the Captcha image, into the textbox and click the download button.

Note: you don't have to purchase a premium account to download the file. This is a free service for files up to 100MB.

If this sounds too complicated, bear with us and we'll eventually get the problem resolved with our provider.

Thanks for your patience,
Jo Ann and Stacy

Hi Everyone,

We have notified our hosting provider of the difficulties that you are having with downloading the 100th episode.

They responded to say they were aware of problem and are working to resolve it. At this point, we do not have an update.

While troubleshooting on my own, I noticed that previous episodes do not appear to be affected. I'm re-submitting the file in hopes of getting around whatever bug I managed to trigger with the post last night.

If that doesn't work, I will post the show to one of the file sharing services and provide a link to it.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
Stacy

Who were you most impressed by in the reward challenge?
What strategy would you have used to avoid being dragged to the line?
What did you think of Plan Voodoo?
Each tribe had to lose someone this week. What did you think of their choices?
Have you been able to figure out exactly who is in control at Rarotonga?
Who would you have chosen to "kidnap" from Raro?

Here are the tribes after episode 6.
Aitutaki: Becky, Candice, Jessica, Jonathan, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul
Rarotonga: Adam, Brad, Jenny, Nathan, Parvati, and Rebbeca

The finale is scheduled for December 17th, and starts with a final five instead of the typical final four. If they have one episode a week from now till then, they will not need to have another double elimination. Jo Ann thinks Jessica will be voted off next, and Stacy thinks it will be Ozzy.

Ok, let's try this again.
Who is really in charge at Rarotonga now? After episode 4, we thought it was clearly the women.
Now, we're not so sure.
As Listener Bob in Minnesota pointed out last week. Female alliances are rarely sustainable.
Do you think they will really be able to regroup and come back to win after losing their weakest physical player?

Survivor Pop Quiz:

1) When is it ok to say you're weak or ready to leave the game?
2) When is it ok to tell everyone that the hidden immunity idol is no longer on Exile Island?
3) When is it a good idea to talk incessantly or to boss others around?
4) When is it a good idea to paddle out almost 4 miles in a small boat to go adventuring?

There are quite a few Survivors this season that could really use some help with the answers. :)

Check this out! Listener Graham in Scotland broke out some Google Earth topography skills and figured out how far the three stooges from Aitu had to paddle to get to Raro's island.

From Aitu to Raro

Here are the tribes after episode 5.
Aitutaki: Becky, Candice, Cao Boi, Jessica, Jonathan, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul
Rarotonga: Adam, Brad, Cristina, Jenny, Nathan, Parvati, and Rebbeca

We're finally going to get a double elimination in episode 6. We think it will be Cao Boi on Aitu and and Cristina is our pick for Raro.

Who are your picks for next to get voted out?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

The intro this week is dedicated to everyone that had to listen to Cao Boi. The outro music is dedicated to Cao Boi, Cristina, Jonathan, Jessica, Nate, Ozzy and Stephannie. Perhaps it's a group case of dehydration affecting their mental faculties. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. Episode 4 packed a pretty major surprise and we couldn't wait to hear what you had to say about it!

Who is really in charge at Rarotonga now? Do you think they will really be able to regroup and come back to win after losing their strongest physical player?

What do you think is most important this season: brains or brawn?
Would you keep sad sack Ozzy around or discard him the first chance you got?
Who's smarter: Parvati or Nathan?
Would you have had the guts to vote out your physically strongest asset?

Here are the tribes after episode 4.
Aitutaki: Becky, Candice, Cao Boi, Jessica, Jonathan, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul
Rarotonga: Adam, Brad, Cristina, Jenny, Nathan, Parvati, Rebbeca, and Stephannie

We just wrapped episode four and there are still 16 people in the game. Will this finally be a double elimination week? We think it will be Cao Boi on Aitu and and Nathan is our pick for Raro.

Who's your pick(s) for next to get voted out?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Say goodbye to Puka Puka and Manahiki. Unless you missed the preview commercial or the LF show, you knew there was a merge coming. That seemed like a pretty fair way to distribute the teams, but this show stood out for another reason too.

This turned out to be another one of those episodes that left us wondering more about what we didn't see than what we did.

What happened to Candice on Exile Island?
Was there another clue and another idol already hidden there?
Did Rarotonga chow down on that octopus?
And most importantly, did Yul gift the Hidden Immunity Idol to Becky before Tribal Council?

What do you think about these new tribes?

Here's the tribes after episode 3.
Aitutaki: Becky, Candice, Cao Boi, Jessica, Jonathan, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul
Rarotonga: Adam, Brad, Cristina, Jenny, JP, Nathan, Parvati, Rebbeca, and Stephannie

We're sticking with our prediction of a double elimination again for the next episode. There's still way too many tribe members in the game. Jo Ann thinks it will be Cao Boi and Nathan. Stacy thinks it will be Cao Boi and Parvati.

Who's your pick(s) for next to get voted out? Now that they have merged, there are new romantic possiblities to consider. Parvati seems intent on hooking up with one of the studs on her team. Who do you predict will be the other rumored romance this season?

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

Both songs this week are dedicated to the reset that just happened as they merged from four teams down to two. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

It's time for Listener Feedback on Episode Two!

The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode.

This week we hear from: Carol, Fancy, Denver Dave, Sandi, James, Jason, Bonnie, Bob, Brad, Rob, Kurt, and Graham.

There is definitely a merge this week, and we still think there will be two castaways voted out too.

Prepare for a complete reset and shuffle as the game starts over. Will the previous 6 days count for anything when tribe members are split up from each other?

We love hearing what you thought, and We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

The intro music is once again dedicated to poor lovesick Billy. He didn't further his cause on Survivor Live either. The outro music conveys some of the tension we believe will be rampant once the tribes merge this week in episode 3. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

That was an interesting twist this week.
I believe we just witnessed the birth of a stalker on an episode of Survivor.

We're really enjoying the change in format. The combined reward/immunity challenge gives us so much more time with the castaways, and this episode was jam packed with interesting events.

Here's the tribes after episode 2.
Aitutaki: Cecilia, Cristina, J.P., Ozzy
Manihiki: Nathan, Rebecca, Stephannie, Sundra
Puka Puka: Becky, Brad, Cao Boi, Jenny, Yul
Rarotonga: Adam, Candice, Jessica, Jonathan, Parvati

We think the tribes will merge down to two next week. We also think there will be two castaways voted out next week. Jo Ann thinks Cao Boi and Jessica will be voted out next. Stacy says it will be Parvati and Nathan.

Who's your pick for the next castaway(s) to get voted out? Do you think they will merge down to two tribes? If so, how do you think they'll choose the new tribes? Who do you predict will be the other rumored romance this season?

Are you as psyched about the new season of Survivor that starts this Thursday as we are?

We can't wait, and what better way to get ready than a preview show where we wade in and share our extremely biased views on how we think all the new castaways will do before we ever get to see them in action?

Our "Judge a Book by its Cover" show gives us an excuse to get to know the new Survivor contestants and sharpen our psychic powers as we do just what our parents and religous leaders taught us not to do which is to judge people on surface detail alone, without any real knowledge of who they are. We, of course, encourage you to play along at home, and we got some great feedback this time too.

A special thanks to: Fancy, Carol, Hanna, Sandi, Graham, and Bob for taking the time to share their opinions too.

Here are the tribes at the start of Survivor 13: Cook Islands

Aitutaki: Billy, Cecilia, Cristina, J.P., Ozzy

Manihiki: Nathan, Rebecca, Sekou, Stephannie, Sundra

Puka Puka: Becky, Brad, Cao Boi, Jenny, Yul

Rarotonga: Adam, Candice, Jessica, Jonathan, Parvati

If you're interested in participating in the JSFL, send us an email with JSFL in the subject line to let us know, and we'll add you to the roster and send you additional instructions. The prize this season will be a Survivor t-shirt. Not sure what the JSFL is? Check out the links section below for the rules we used last season along with the results.

It's time to kick off a new season of Survivor with our traditional "Judge a Book by its Cover" show.

We want to hear what you think about the 20 new contestants for Survivor Cook Islands.
There's not a lot of information to draw on. It's not clear yet how all these diverse people will interact with each other or what agendas they plan to follow throughout the game.
Study their pictures, read their bios and let us know how well you think they will do this season.

We of course want to hear what you think about the decision to divide the tribes by race. Is it a grand "social experiment" or just another stunt that Mark Burnet proposed to stir up interest in the show?

Who's your pick for the first one voted out?

How many episodes will they air with four teams before they merge down to the normal two?

Go out on a limb, and tell us who you think will win it all.

Will Exile Island play a significant role in this season?

If you're interested in participating in the JSFL, send us an email with JSFL in the subject line to let us know, and we'll add you to the roster and send you additional instructions. The prize this season will be a Survivor t-shirt. Not sure what the JSFL is? Check out the links section below for the rules we used last season along with the results. Part 5 concludes the story of Stacy's adventure this summer at the BOSS 14 Day Field Skills class and focuses on days 12 through 14.

Day 12 begins the Student Expedition phase of the journey. At this point, the students are given a set of maps and directions for their way points on each day, along with the phone numbers of key staff in case they have an emergency. The group's first goal is to hike up out of the gulch on their way to the sandstone tanks. They will meet back up with the instructors at the end of day 13.

Part 4 continues the story of Stacy's adventure this summer at the BOSS 14 Day Field Skills class and focuses on days 9 through 11.

Day 9 concludes the Group Expedition phase with a challenging hike through the gulch and includes the beginning of Solo. During Solo, the students are on their own with no contact for 48 hours. Will Stacy be able to get fire, will he be forced to eat pinole and raw vegatables the whole time?

Ok, we're finally back. Stacy was quite ill for the last few weeks, but he's much better now and we're ready to continue.

Part 3 resumes the story of Stacy's experience this summer at the BOSS 14 Day Field Skills class and focuses on days 6 through 8. The group was reenergized during their stay at Durfey creek and ready to tackle the Group Expedition phase. Day 6 begins with Mike and Stacy leading the way, sort of. :)

Part 2 continues the story of Stacy's experience this summer at the BOSS 14 Day Field Skills class and focuses on days 3 through 5.

With day 2 and the challenge of The Needle behind them, the group heads back up to the small pool of water for a drink and then they're off again on another long journey which includes hiking up the side of a mountain for a little extra challenge. Day 4 focused on the sanctity of life and brought some much needed food. Day 5 was about powering up for the next phase, Group Expedition. At this point, the instructors begin to transition control of the navigation for the hikes to the students.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

We're going out with our biggest Listener Feedback show yet. It's a little over an hour and a half long, so you'll probably have to partake in small doses if you're a die hard Survivor fan and plan on listening to the whole thing.

We're thrilled so many of you were moved to send in your thoughts. It's been a great season primarily because of your participation.

This episode we hear from: Graham, Carol, Jason, Bonnie, Paul, Dave, Hanna, Fancy, Brad, Sandi, Amy, Bob, Mallory, Damien, and Josh

We'll be back again in mid to late June with an update on Stacy's adventure in the desert and news about other shows during the summer hiatus.

We'd love to hear from you during the off season too. We'll be gone for a couple weeks starting Memorial Day weekend, but we always enjoy chatting about our favorite show with other fans.

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. We liked the intro music this week because it reminded us of how much fun we had watching Survivor with you this season. All good things come to and end and this outro music works both in title and melody to celebrate that moment. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Hey Gang,

Our hosting provider is planning a major upgrade for tonight. From past experience, we know that these events typically result in multi-day outages. :)

So, we thought it would be best to delay the show till Thursday and avoid the usual headaches that coincide with their growing pains.

To those of you that got your inputs in already, thank you very much. We're that much closer to having the show done.

If you thought it was just too rushed and you didn't have time to respond yet, there's still time! We'll be accepting email, audio files, and voicemail up till Thursday afternoon PST.

If you need to vent or celebrate, we're still accepting input for the Finale Listener Feedback show. Now's your time to sound off.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

We got enough responses to do a special Saturday version of the Listener Feedback show. We really enjoyed hearing what some of you thought of the final four cliffhanger.

This episode we hear from: Paul, Jason, Mallory, Sandi, and Bob

We're planning on recaping the finale and including your reactions during the normal Listener Feedback show on Tuesday.

It's been another great season of Survivor and we're looking forward to wrapping it up with your help. We look forward to hearing from all the regulars and hopefully a few new folks too. :)

We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. With either of those options, we can include your audio directly into the special Listener Feedback shows.

You can also send us your input in an email, and we'll read it into the show when we record. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see.

We liked the intro music for this episode because it works well regardless of who specifically your hoping wins the firemaking tie breaker. The outro music is also dedicated to both Cirie and Danielle as they battle to break the Tribal Council tied vote. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

Did you enjoy getting to see the extra reward challenge?
Do you think it would have been against the rules if Danielle and Terry had agreed that whoever got the votes in Tribal Council could play the hidden immunity idol?
Are you disappointed that we never saw the hidden immunity idol played?
Did you think it was worth a cliffhanger episode?

Well, it's sort of hard to complain too much when you end up getting more of your favorite show, huh?

Other than learning that Aras is also guaranteed final 3 with Terry, there was no real change to the Gitanos tribe at the end of episode 13: Aras, Cirie, Danielle, and Terry

Here's the jury: Austin, Sally, Bruce, Courtney, and Shane
Names in italics indicate a member of the pre-merge La Mina tribe

Stacy's prediction for final four order was: Aras, Cirie, Danielle, and Terry for the win. So that's pretty much out the door now. Jo Ann went with: Danielle, Cirie, Aras and Terry. Her's might still materialize. How'd you do with your picks?

We were left with a bit of "blah" reaction after this episode given that no one was voted out. It felt like we were denied once again. We decided to leave it up to you as to whether we would try to squeeze in one more Listener Feedback show or a conference call like we did last season before the finale on Sunday.

We want to hear what you thought about the cliffhanger episode, and especially those final four picks. If we get enough responses before Saturday at 5pm PST, we'll assemble another LF show that night. Otherwise, we'll respond to emails and comments on the website and wait till we really get to see who wins it all on Sunday.

We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. With either of those options, we can include your audio directly into the special Listener Feedback shows.

Both songs this week are dedicated to Aras. His actions stood in stark contrast to his "lifelong" commitment to peace and love so we thought it was appropriate to break out some Buddha Nature to center him. The outro is dedicated to his gastro-intestinal demonstrations after he returned from the reward challenge. He sure must feel comfortable around Cirie. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

There's lots of tasty, final four scenarios to consider in this week's Listener Feedback show. The two biggest camps of thought either have Aras or Terry winning it all, but there's at least one adventurous soul that predicts Cirie will walk away with the $1M.

This week we hear from: Carol, Brad, Hanna, Dave, Bonnie, Brian, Amy, Graham, Sandi, Bob, Jason, and Weezie.

It's not too late to weigh in with your prediction. We'd love to hear more views on how you think it's going to play out.

Whether it's about something you saw on the show that you're dying to talk about with someone, or a suggestion for how we can improve the podcasts, we'd love to hear from you too! :)

The intro music this week is dedicated to Cirie. When she decides your number is up, it's time to go. Anyone else thinking we're going to be left with a cliffhanger on Thursday? Greetings Survivor Fans,

Hmm, did the brilliant Casaya's just send a fifth vote for Terry to the jury? It's not clear who's playing the worse inter-personal game at this point. If you have an alliance with Terry, or you attempt to make one, you're virtually guaranteed to go home next. If you're a part of the inseperable Casayas and you keep blindsiding your "friends" can you really expect them to vote for you to win $1M?

Here's the Gitanos tribe as it stands after episode 12: Aras, Cirie, Danielle, and Terry

Here's the jury: Austin, Sally, Bruce, Courtney, and Shane
Names in italics indicate a member of the pre-merge La Mina tribe

It's your turn now. Send us your pick for the final four order right down to sole survivor. There's still the matter of that extra show next Thursday before the finale. Do you think something odd may be in the works? Do you think Terry will give the hidden immunity idol away for leverage if he wins his sixth straight immunity challenge?

Our prediction for final four order is: Aras, Cirie, Danielle, and Terry for the win.

We want to hear what you thought about this episode, especially those final four picks.

Greetings Stephenie/Survivor Fans,

We resolved our hosting limitation problems. We decided to pay a little extra this month to boost up our limit so we could get this interview out to you sooner.

This our third and final interview in the three part series that we conducted during Media Day 2006 for Survivor the Ride at Paramount's Great America.

This time we sit down with Stephenie LaGrossa from Survivor Palau and Survivor Guatemala.

Listen to what she has to say in reply to which season was the toughest based on her extreme experiences. And yes, she even comments on Judd, Judd's wife, and how bad Jaime really got before they got rid of him.

Conducting these interviews was a great experience for long time Survivor fans like us. I hope we can find a way to do more and share them with you in the future.

Here's the link to Stephenie's website: http://www.stephenielagrossa.com/

Greetings Survivor Fans,

Let's all be happy for Terry's wife! She just won a new GM Yukon.

According to Stacy, the "car curse" will be broken this season. Terry's now got four votes on the jury and he'll be the Sole Survivor if he can somehow hold on to make final two.

Cirie demonstrated some extremely clever maneuvering to get rid of Courtney. If Courtney holds a grudge though, it will turn out to be her worst strategic move in the game.

Here's the Gitanos tribe as it stands after episode 11: Aras, Cirie, Danielle, Shane, and Terry

Here's the jury: Austin, Sally, Bruce, and Courtney
Names in italics indicate a member of the pre-merge La Mina tribe

Here's a quick update on the episode schedule. TV Guide is now indicating that we will get an episode on May 11th after all. If so, Jo Ann thinks it will be a final four episode. Which means the Sunday finale will only be 2 hours long instead of the normal 3.

We both think Danielle will be next to go.

We want to hear what you thought about this episode. Was there anything significant that we missed in tonight's podcast recap and analysis?

The intro music this week is dedicated to Courtney. She was voted most annoying and biggest poser in episode 10 and now she get's blindsided and voted out in episode 11. She truly wasn't in touch with her surroundings. The outro music is dedicated to poor Danielle who was forced to have to think really hard in episode 11. Given her results, we think she could benefit from a nice slow tune with a simple melody. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

The consensus from the listeners is in. Don't freakin sing to me if I'm sick! Courtney managed to asail to new heights on the annoying scale when Bruce went down for the count in this episode, and lots of folks wanted to talk about it.

This week we hear from: Fancy, Brad, Amy, Brian, Dave, Jason, Sandi, Bob, and Graham.

We certainly had fun with this show, maybe we were a little punch drunk. Jason gave us a good belly laugh, and it was great to hear Graham's voice. Graham, we understood every word, so we expect more of those in the future. It's great to hear from all of you. We really enjoy all the diverse views.

Whether it's about something you saw on the show that you're dying to talk about with someone, or a suggestion for how we can improve the podcasts, we'd love to hear from you too! :)

The intro music for this week is dedicated to Bruce. To make it on to Survivor and then get knocked off by an illness is a tragedy. The outro is dedicated to Shane and Courtney. Think of it as a kind of a love song from Shane. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

Wow, that reward challenge carried quite a sting for one survivor. Can you imagine how you would feel if the folks you had been living with for the last 30 days declared that: you talk too much, you're a poseur, you're spineless, and the most annoying person out here?

According to her tribemates, those statements all describe Courtney Marit.

It will be interesting to see if it has any affect on how she plays the game going forward. Strangely enough, those four qualities may result in netting her $100k. Not bad for the least liked person in the game.

Here's the Gitanos tribe as it stands after episode 10: Aras, Cirie, Courtney, Danielle, Shane, and Terry

Here's the jury: Austin, Sally, ?Bruce?
Names in italics indicate a member of the pre-merge La Mina tribe

Well, right now there still appears to be one too many episodes before the finale on Sunday, May 14th. Jo Ann tried contacting CBS and our local cable provider, but we didn't get anything in the way of a useful response.

If Terry wins immunity, Jo Ann says Danielle will be next to go. Stacy thinks it will be Aras. If Terry does win immunity, we both agree that it will be Danielle.

We want to hear what you thought about this episode. Was there anything significant that we missed in tonight's podcast recap and analysis?

Let us know who you think will get voted off next and if you think Bruce will make it back for the jury.

We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). The intro music this week is dedicated to poor Bruce (sorry, can't resist the double entendre there) as well as several of his Casaya tribemates. The "pecking order" challenges are usually pretty good at disrupting tribe unity. This one certainly made an impact. The outro music is dedicated to Courtney and all the baggage she appears to be carrying out there on the island. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

We're glad you stopped by to check out the show. This episode is a great example of our Listener Feedback show where you get to sound off with your views on how the game is shaping up, creative strategies that we all wish the Survivors would apply, and as always general observations on the humorous side of the events that have occurred.

This week we hear from: Carol, Hanna, Denver Dave, Amy, Brad, Sandi, Brian, and Bob. Jo Ann also included a fairly extensive summary of this week's Survivor Live with Sally.

Judging from your feedback, we're facing another episode with lots of new possibilities for us all to ponder and look forward to. Thanks to all the listeners who took the time to share their ideas.

Whether it's about something you saw on the show that you're dying to talk about with someone, or a suggestion for how we can improve the podcasts, we'd love to hear from you too! :)

The intro music for this week is dedicated to Courtney's surprise ride on the bungi swing. It's also a message to the PR folks to say, "enough with the misdirections in the promos". The outro is dedicated to the Casaya clan who, we expect, will finally have to start playing the outwit and outlast portions of the game. This should be interesting! Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Welcome Home Survivor Fans,

Well, I guess it wasn't really a surprise how this episode played out (we picked Sally to go this week), but we were really hoping to see a glint of some serious strategy applied. In any case we had fun watching.

Here's the Gitanos tribe as it stands after episode 9: Aras, Bruce, Cirie, Courtney, Danielle, Shane, and Terry

Here's the jury: Austin, Sally
Names in italics indicate a member of the pre-merge La Mina tribe

We're a little confused as to how the next episodes might play out since there appears to be too many before the finale on May 14th. Either they skip a week or perhaps the "medical emergency" ends up delaying a tribal council and we'll end up with 15 instead of the normal 14 episodes per season.

If someone does get voted off next week, Jo Ann says it will be Bruce. Stacy thinks it will be Aras. Also, be on the lookout for Shane to attempt an all male alliance. If you can't beat Terry, why not join him?

We want to hear what you thought about this episode. Was there anything significant that we missed in tonight's podcast recap and analysis?

Let us know who you think will get voted off next and if you think Bruce will be the one evacuated from the island due to a "medical emergency".

The intro music this week is dedicated to poor Sally. There were a lot of folks that thought she was going to be the Sole Survivor this season. The outro music is dedicated to Shane and his remarkable willingness to drop trow and demand Cirie diagnose his jock itch. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Greetings Strategy Buffs (and Survivor Fans),

We're at the point in the game where it really starts to get interesting. A multitude of possibilities opens up after the merge as we head towards the final 4. It's fun to imagine the different paths each Survivor might take, and the hidden immunity idol has definitely added some new twists to consider as all of the listener feedback we received highlights!

So, kick back and get comfy. Put on your thinking cap as we mull over what Bob, Hanna, Toledo Dave, Amy, Brad, Bonnie, Rob, Sharon, Graham, Carol, and a double dose of Denver Dave offer up this week

We're as excited as ever about what might happen in episode 9 this week and we hope you are too! Thanks again to all the listeners this week that took the time to share their ideas.

Whether it's about something you saw on the show that you're dying to talk about with someone, or a suggestion for how we can improve the podcasts, we'd love to hear from you too! :)

Greetings Survivor Fans,

Wow, we might have gone off the deep end in the strategy department of the podcast this week. :)

Stacy's hung up on using the hidden immunity idol to bluff Casaya and undermine their alliance. Jo Ann has masterminded a three way tie scenario she thinks Casaya overlooked this time that would have nullified Terry's hidden immunity idol and still get Austin voted out.

Listen in and let us know if we're on to something, and especially if you think you've got a better plan in mind.

Here's the Gitanos tribe as it stands after episode 8: Aras, Bruce, Cirie, Courtney, Danielle, Sally, Shane, and Terry

The first member of the jury is: Austin
Names in italics indicate a member of the pre-merge La Mina tribe

We both think Sally will go next.

We want to hear what you thought about this episode. Was there anything significant that we missed in tonight's podcast recap and voting strategy session?

Can you think of a worse reward in previous seasons than the one that Aras, Bruce, and Sally shared in this episode? Maybe Survivor is having budget problems.

Let us know who you think will get voted off next and if you think Terry will try to give the hidden immunity idol to someone else in the next episode.

We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Both the intro and outro music this week is dedicated to the Casaya crew. Somehow, that disfunctional band of misfits is managing to stick together even when faced with significant temptations. It's definitely paying off for them too. They triumphed once again even though they have yet to win an individual immunity. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Hello Again Survivor Fans,

First, let's announce the winners of last episode's Survivor trivia contest.

Contratulations to Bob from Minnesota and Bonnie from North Carolina. They had the correct answers in before we even woke up Friday morning. :)
Your CDs are in the mail and should arrive shortly.

We appreciated everyone that participated and we had a great time pulling our first trivia contest together for you. Big thanks to Todd Lerner for his support and for creating those awesome songs on his new CD, if right now played guitar, that we've enjoyed so much as a soundtrack for what's going on in the show.

Anyone interested in meeting at Paramount's Great America and trying out their new attraction, "Survivor The Ride"?
It's in Santa Clara, CA if you live close by. If we get 15 people together it says we can get a 40% discount on the tickets. :)
Check the links section below for more info. Thanks to Jason from Canada for the tip on the new ride.

We really look forward to the listener feedback shows and hope you do too. The different theories and analysis that you send in gets us thinking about new possibilities and excited to see how the next episode unfolds.

This week we hear from: Bill, Fancy, Hanna, Dave, Carol, Sandi, Graham, Debbie, Brad, Paul, Jason, and Bob.

Whether it's about something you saw on the show that you're dying to talk about with someone, or a suggestion for how we can improve the podcasts, we'd love to hear from you too! :)

Welcome Back Survivor Fans,

We're back from the 3 week hiatus and we've got a contest for you! There are 5 Survivor trivia questions in tonight's podcast. The first two listeners that respond with the correct answers will win copies of Todd Lerners new CD, if right now played guitar. We've really enjoyed playing Todd's music this season and he graciously donated some CDs to the show that we want to pass on to a couple of lucky winners that know Survivor trivia.

Let's talk about tonight's show for minute now. Was anyone else left a little confused and dissappointed? We were expecting to see a reward challenge that included a helicopter ride, a challenge involving rope cutting, and someone having to leave due to a medical emergency.

Instead we got a single immunity challenge and a predictable "Us vs Them" vote down tribal lines while watching the despondent La Mina tribe self destruct. It's great to have Survivor back, but that was kind of a bummer with no apparent end to Casaya's arrogant domination.

Here's the new Gitanos tribe after episode 7: Aras, Austin, Bruce, Cirie, Courtney, Danielle, Sally, Shane, and Terry
Names in italics indicate a member of the pre-merge La Mina tribe

We want to hear what you thought about this episode. Was there anything significant that we missed in tonight's podcast recap and analysis?
What do you think Terry's best option was?
What would you have done if you had the idol and had won individual immunity?
Do you think he would have been able to work a better deal if he had given Nick the immunity idol tonight to get rid of Shane?
Is it asking too much to think someone might plan two moves ahead instead of just one?
We want to hear from you! :)

Let us know who you think will get voted off next and if you think Terry will actually give the hidden immunity idol to someone else in the next episode.

We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. With either of those options, we can include your audio directly into the special Listener Feedback shows.

The intro music this week is dedicated to little man Bruce. He had both tribes nervous trying to figure out which way he might vote. The outro music is dedicated to the rapidly shrinking La Mina tribe. A few more episodes and they'll all be jury members. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Here's the tribes as we wait for the return of the next Survivor TV episode:
Casaya: Aras, Bruce, Cirie, Courtney, Danielle, and Shane
La Mina: Austin, Nick, Sally, and Terry

We're collecting suggestions for a video clip we can assemble for this season. Let us know if you have any recommendations.

We'll be back after the next Survivor Exile Island TV episode airs on March 30th.

The intro music this week is dedicated to the self imposed TV break that CBS is forcing us to endure as we wait for the return of our favorite reality show. The outro music was provided by Marq Speck from Sweet Crystal. We agreed with Marq that it had the perfect beat for a Survivor Podcast. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

Welcome to the Listener Feedback show for The Jo Ann and Stacy Show, a Survivor Fan Podcast.

The consensus among the folks that responded this week seems to be that this last episode was rather underwhelming and disappointingly overhyped. We couldn't agree more. Maybe the folks at SEG/CBS will rethink their PR approach during the break, and stop cranking out those bogus "next time on Survivor" plugs. :)

We're doing things a little different this week as we were seperated by the Pacific ocean when we recorded the show. Jo Ann's at home in northern California, and Stacy is in Penang, Malaysia. You might notice a slight drop in audio quality, but bear with us as we have another entertaining round of feedback to share with everyone.

This week we hear from: Hanna, Carol, Sandi, Graham, Damien, Brad, Ted, and a special request from Josh. See the link section below for more info to help support Josh and the American Cancer Soceity.

We're hoping to gain some interesting, new insights into the personalities of all the castaways on the flashback episode this week, and we'd love to hear what you thought about it.

The intro music this week is dedicated once again to the caustic Casaya tribe. Seems like all they do is fuss 'n' fight. The outro music is aimed squarely at the flashback show that's set to air on Wednesday. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

Pssst, can you keep a secret? I'm an ASTRONAUT!
Dan was so desperate for everyone to know who he was. Now, he will go down in Survivor history as one of the most disappointing castaways to ever play the game.

Here's the tribes after episode 6:
Casaya: Aras, Bruce, Cirie, Courtney, Danielle, and Shane
La Mina: Austin, Nick, Sally, and Super Terry

What did you think of this episode? This was the second week in a row where the pre-show hype left us disappointed and really wanting more. It was funny to see Dan get blown out of the water by Bruce, and the "Save Sally" plan that the Casaya ladies instigated was a nice twist. The "watch Shane the Psycho show" is getting kind of boring.

Well, unless they do something that's never been done before, AGAIN, we're thinking the merge will occur when the show returns 3 weeks from now. Jo Ann thinks Aras will be the next to go. Stacy says it will be Bruce.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted off? Who do you think is really running La Mina, Austin or Terry? Did you see something in this episode that we missed? We want to hear from you! :)

We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Welcome Back Survivor Fans,

It's time for another gigantic dose of Listener Feedback goodness!

This week we hear from: Shawn, Hanna, Bob, Carol, Dave, Rob, Paul, Graham, Fancy, Brad, and Sandi.

Looks like there's quite a few of us that are in agreement. Aras will be the next one to go. We've been tricked by those devious Survivor Entertainment Group video editors before. They want us to think it's going to be Shane, but we're on to them this time. Aras has fallen out of favor with the ladies, so his ticket is up in episode 6. Who knew kidney beans could be so lethal? Check out the links section below for more info on just how dangerous they can be. :)

Check out these pictures that Bob captured from the video of episode 5 during the immunity challenge. He's pretty sure that Casaya should not have won. What do you think?

The intro music this week is dedicated once again to the mighty Bob Dawg. He was a bit unforgiving in his exit interviews and didn't have many good things to say about most of his tribemates on Casaya. The outro music is dedicated to Casaya and specifically to little Bruce and is rock garden. They could all use a dose of zen happiness over there. Hi Survivor Fans,

Wow! Did you see who was cuddling in the shelter after the Reward challenge at Casaya this week?

Would you have gotten rid of the physically, strongest player this early when the numbers are going to be so close for the merge? Do you think the women of Casaya have taken control of the tribe now? Were you impressed with how well they worked Shane? Wouldn't it be interesting to see Shane or Aras on the outside of the power structure?

Did anyone notice if Bruce brought a bag or something he could have concealed an immunity idol in to tribal council? It didn't seem like anyone even considered that he might have found it. Also, what was in that bag that Terry had when he returned from Exile Island? Did he get a ration of beans too?

Here's the tribes after episode 5:
Casaya: Aras, Bruce, Cirie, Courtney, Danielle, and Shane
La Mina: Austin, Dan, Nick, Sally, and Super Terry

We think that La Mina is going to hold on and win immunity next week, and we're going to go out on a limb and predict that Aras will be the next to go from Casaya. If La Mina loses immunity though, we think Sally will be next to leave that group in an effort to keep the females from developing a numerical advantage after the merge.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted off? Did you see something in this episode that we missed? We want to hear from you! :)

Welcome Back Survivor Fans,

It's time for another dose of Listener Feedback goodness!

There were several themes in your comments this week: "Why was Shane so calm at times?", "What would happen if someone planted lots of fake immunity idols on the island?", and many folks were outraged at Bobby's complete and utter lack of respect for his tribe mate's opinions. We also sprinkled in some tidbits we got from Ruth Marie's appearance on The Early Show and Survivor Live. Seems as though things were not exactly as they appeared due to some pretty generous editing liberties over the last couple of shows.

This week we hear from: Hanna, Kurt, Josh, Dave, Graham, Sandi, Mike, Bob, Paul, Brad, Drew & Lili.

We'd love to hear from you too! :)

We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). The intro music this week is dedicated to Team Dysfunction: Casaya. They do a lot of talking there, but we don't think anyone's really listening. The outro music is dedicated to both tribes. We agree with several of you that we're about to see some alliances shift regardless of which tribe wins immunity this week. Here's a link to the artist in case you want to learn more about them.

Hi Survivor Fans,

Wow, Terry grabbed a significant power-up this week. Wasn't that awesome? He's going to be hard to stop come merge time. Have we ever seen a tribe so eager to have a leader to tell them what to do? Do you think he might have made a significant tactical error though when he agreed to keep Sally? Did he just give control of La Mina over to Austin without realizing it, or is Sally in the catbird's seat now?

What did you think about the contrast between Bruce and Terry during their respective stays on Exile Island? :)

Here's the tribes after episode 4:
Casaya: Aras, Bobby, Bruce, Cirie, Courtney, Danielle, and Shane
La Mina: Austin, Dan, Nick, Sally, and Super Terry

If La Mina loses immunity next week, Jo Ann says Sally will go next. Stacy says it will be Dan.
If it's Casaya, Jo Ann says it will be Danielle, and Stacy chose Courtney.

Who's your pick for the next one to get voted off? Are you surprised that so far, only women have been voted out? Did you see something in this episode that we missed? Oh yeah, where did that shovel come from? We want to hear from you! :)

Welcome Back Survivor Fans,

It's time for a look back at episode 3 of Exile Island. This is the show where the listeners chime in and share their thoughts, feedback on what they saw, and share any episode specific mysteries they uncovered.

This week we hear from: Hanna, Fancy, Brad, Graham, Bob, Sandi, Dave, and Drew & Lili.

Graham from Scotland, newly appointed Chief of Research Scientist for JASS, once again supplied us with a surprise morsel of information. Turns out Bruce is somewhat correct about the cloth filter idea. Check the links section below for more details.

Thanks to all for the excellent participation in this week's LF show. It totally makes the episode when someone pops in with an observation that never even occurred to us or highlights some little known fact or trivia item from a previous season. We want to hear from everyone out there. New listeners, long time listeners. The more we share, the more we all enjoy each episode.

The intro music this week is dedicated to both tribes. They each seem to be suffering, and they managed to arrive in that state in their own, unique ways. The outro music is dedicated to La Mina. From scanning the preview info, it looks like they might be in store for an extra helping of misery during episode 4. Here's the links to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Hi Survivor Fans,

How many of you were caught off guard when central casting's Danni clone got voted out this week?

Wow, isn't Casaya lucky to have their very own self described "gift from heaven", Mr. Miyagi? He evidently has invented a new water purification system as yet unknown to modern science. Turns out you can filter 90% of bacteria out of water just by using a series of t-shirts. Go figure.

We're going to have lots to discuss in this week's listener feedback show. :)

Did anyone recognize that tree that Terry was standing by? It had these huge bean pods hanging on it. Wouldn't it be ironic if they were complaining about the lack of food and standing right beside a great source the whole time?

Here's the teams as they stand after episode 3.
La Mina: Terry, Sally, Austin, Nick, Ruth Marie, and Dan
Casaya: Danielle, Shane, Courtney, Aras, Cirie, Bobby, Bruce

If it's Casaya, Jo Ann says Shane will be the next to go home. Stacy says it will be Cirie. If it's La Mina, we both think it will have to be Sally, loser of the spear.

What's your call? Who will be next to go?

Thanks for all the great participation in last week's LF show. We're hoping we'll hear from even more of you this week. :)

We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Hi Survivor Fans,

"There's no crying in Tribal Council!" - Brad from NY

Welcome to take two of this week's LF show. We lost the first attempt about 3/4 of the way into recording when CastBlaster crashed taking the MP3 we were creating with it. While we might have felt like crying out of frustration, we set it aside and came back again tonight to take another run at it. We made it through this time, and have a sparkly, new mp3 file to share. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Buckle up. We've got another great show for you this week with over 80 minutes of LF goodness.

This week we hear from: Ted, Hanna, Brad, Carol, Fancy, Dave, Graham, Mike, Bob, Drew & Lili, and Sandi.

Graham from Scotland supplied us with some great pics this week. Check out this startling comparison of Charles Manson and Shane Powers.
Brothers?

What do you think of his idea for the possible location of the idol?
Hidden

Immunity Idol Location?
Look at the area inside the box he highlighted. It definitely has a "Y" shape to it.

Thanks for all the great participation in this week's LF show. Once again, you guys deliver with lots of interesting, unique observations on episode 2 of Exile Island.

Our analysis of episode 3 will be out shortly after it airs here in California tomorrow and it looks like it will give us lots to talk about! :)

Hi Gang,

This week's Listener Feedback show, which normally is published on Tuesday, will be delayed. We ran into technical difficulties tonight, and lost the mp3 file about 3/4 of the way through the recording. :(

We'll start over again tomorrow and get it published as soon as we can, so you can have some last minute Survivor goodness before the new episode airs on Thursday. :)

Sorry for the delay,
Jo Ann and Stacy

Hi Survivor Fans,

Once again, an episode packed with surprises and twists!

Well, it appears we have our first villian/moron/drama queen of the season. Shane the ADD poster child and self professed 12 year old was on display for this episode. Oh yeah, he's also a quitter. Who would you choose to keep Melinda or Shane? Do you think it would really be that hard to drop bipolar Shane and pick up an alternate 4th for the alliance?

Here's our new teams.
La Mina: Terry, Sally, Austin, Misty, Nick, Ruth Marie, and Dan
Casaya: Danielle, Shane, Courtney, Aras, Cirie, Bobby, Bruce

Were you impressed with Bruce's "Ka-ra-te" skills. Looks like it really helped him out on exile island. Maybe he was feeling a little insecure after not being picked for a team. Do you think he ever got fire?

What's with these Survivors and fire. It's starting to look like there's only one or two people that can start a fire with flint and steel, and they've already voted one of them off.

Did anybody ascertain exactly where the hidden immunity idol really is now? We didn't really think there was any new, useful information for the viewers.

Jo Ann says Shane will be the next to go. Stacy says it will be a wounded Dan.

Who's your choice for the next to leave Exile Island?

Thanks for all the great participation in last week's LF show. We're hoping we'll hear from even more of you this week. :)

We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277).

The first song is dedicated to Aras, Courtney, Danielle, and Shane. The last song is dedicated to Shane. He desperately needs a dose of something to pull him out of his funk. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

Well, what did you think about that opener? Looks like we're in for another exciting ride this season with lots of surprises. :)

Did you have any inkling of an idea that one of the potentially strongest players would be the first to go? We sure didn't. What did you think about the strategy behind their choice?

So, did you figure out what exactly was the clue that Jeff said he'd already told Misty? Why did she think it was buried?

We've had a chance to see them all in action now. What's your assessment of the new players? Did anyone stand out for you as having great potential or maybe so quirky that they'd stand out too much?

Did you think Dan might have been a little too eager to tell someone that he was an astronaut? What was your reaction to Coutney's turtle ceremony or Aras' energy demonstration? We definitely have some unique characters this season.

Jo Ann picked Melinda as next to go. Stacy thinks it will be Bobby.

Now it's your turn. Who do you think will be voted out next?

We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. With either of those options, we can include your audio directly into the special Listener Feedback shows.

Welcome Back Survivor Fans,

It's time to get ready for Survivor Panama Exile Island!

At the beginning of each season, we do a special preview show before the first TV episode airs. We call it the "Judge a Book by its Cover" show. It's a great opportunity to get psyched up for the new season and start to learn about the new crew of Survivors.

Your assignment is to go to the website and checkout all the new Survivors. Look at their pictures, read their bios if you want, and then send us your first impressions.

Who do you think will be the first person voted off?
Who was cast as eye candy?
Who's got what it takes to make it to the merge?
Who's likely to be a villain or a hero?
Do you see anyone that looks like they'll try to fly under the radar in hopes of being carried to the end?
If you're really feeling confident, who'll make it to the final four?

If you haven't had a chance to catch the teaser commercials or the cast introduction on the CBS early show, you can check out both of them by downloading this video clip we put together for you:Exile Island Promo Combo Video
Hint: Save it to your computer so you can watch it as many times as you want.

We need your inputs by Wednesday, 1/25. We'll put the preview show out on Thursday, 1/26.

We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. With either of those options, we can include your audio directly into the special Listener Feedback shows.

Hi Gang,

Did you have a nice holiday break? We sure did! :)

It rained all through the holidays here, so we stayed cuddled up at home most of the time. We had a great time reading books, watching movies, and catching up on one of our favorite topics: Survivor. We watched Survivor Thailand for the 2nd time, and Australian Survivor (the one with an all Australian cast). We really enjoyed the Australian Survivor season. It was different and also quite intense at times. Thanks again for the tip on that one Shelley!

We also finally had time to rent and watch Deadwood, the HBO drama. It is kind of like Survivor in the old west during the late 1800s, except they don't vote anyone off. They just kill them and feed them to the pigs!

We had hoped to have the JVC, JASS Video Clip, for Rafe out sooner, but it proved a little difficult to assemble, missing and corrupted video/audio sources being the main challenge. In any case, we finally got enough source material together and edited into a Rafe Retrospective. Let us know what you think.

We've got another treat planned for you this week too, so stay subscribed. :)

We want to hear from you,and we've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. With either of those options, we can include your audio directly into the special Listener Feedback shows.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

Ok, we want to know, "Would you have kept the car?"

Do you share Christiana's view that Rafe is the puppet master? There was potentially a great bit of evidence in support of her theory this week.

Here's the final four: Stephenie, Rafe, Danni and Lydia

Jo Ann says that Lydia will go next, followed by Stephenie, then Rafe and Danni to win.

Stacy agrees that Lydia will be next, but he thinks Danni will follow her, then Stephenie and Rafe in the final two, with Rafe to win.

Stacy says that the only chance Stephenie has of winning at this point is if she gets to face off against Lydia. He thinks there are four solid votes against her in the jury already.

Who's your picks for next to go? Give us the order of the final four and your pick for sole Survivor.

We are eager to hear how you would call it.

Here's our schedule for the next couple of shows before the finale on Sunday.

We need Listener Feedback by Saturday 5pm PST, 8pm EST. We'll put out the LF show that night.

We will be hosting a conference call with the free Gizmo software phone on Sunday at 11am PST, 2pm EST. The conference call number is 1-222-787-5277. The Call Subject line will be: JASS Survivor Podcast

The intro song this week is dedicated to Rafe who finally got to let his hair down and relax with the other girls now that "cool Judd" is gone. The outro song is in honor of all the promises that will be made and some that will be broken as we head into the finale. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

We've got a monster LF show for you in this episode with lots of different analysis and food for thought as we head into the final stretch.

This week we hear from Josh, Christiana, Shelley, Sharon, Bob, Bill, Enzo, Todd, Damien, Kurt, Dave, Sandi, Drew & Elise, and Mike.

We're going to try a conference call with the Gizmo project software phone tomorrow at 6:30pm PST, 9:30pm EST. The idea is to determine if it's something we could use to create group interactive shows in the future. We will post an update here with the phone number we will be using just before 6:30pm PST.

This is where it gets really interesting, and we create a special show just like this one so we can collect everyone's thoughts.

The intro song this week is dedicated to the remaining survivors who made a choice which certainly opens up possibilities for a new day. The outro music is in honor of the car reward that's coming in the next episode. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them.

Hey Gang,

Remember when I said I'd have a video test file for you to check out over the weekend?

Well, I spent a ridiculous amount of time converting, cutting, clipping, editing, and experimenting with different formats and finally have something for you to look at.

This file should work in the Quicktime player as well as on a video iPod. If someone who has a video iPod can test it and let me know that would be great. I'm hoping that going the Quicktime route is acceptable given that so many listeners are using iTunes to download the podcasts.

Please check it out and let me know if you have any problems playing it. Otherwise, I'll assume this format is acceptable for any future videos we compile.

Remember, the Listener Feedback show for episode 12 is tomorrow, so there's still time to send us your thoughts.

We really want to hear from you (especially after that last episode), and we create a special show for that purpose.

Greetings Survivor Scumbags,

Are you feeling relieved? Did you get your wish this week? :)

Wasn't the build up for that tribal council vote a classic Survivor moment?

Who do you think made out best in the reward challenge? What would be your strategy for the "flip the tiles" immunity challenge?

Here's where XHAKUM stands now: Lydia, Danni, Cindy, Rafe, and Stephenie

So, who do you think will be the next to go? Jo Ann and Stacy think it will be Cindy. Who's your pick for final two now?

Stacy says he thinks it was a really a double elimination show because he believes that Stephenie's multiple alliance betrayals will ensure that she can't win the $1M now. What do you think? Does she still stand a chance with the other star struck Survivors?

Are you up for a pre-finale conference call where we can all get together via the free Gizmo project VoIP phone to reminisce about our favorite moments and hypothesize who will emerge as the sole Survivor?

Help us put together our "Favorite Moments from Guatemala" video. What scenes should we include?

We really want to hear from you (especially after this episode), and we create a special show for that purpose. We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. With either of those options, we can include your audio directly into the special Listener Feedback shows.

The intro song this week is dedicated to all of us that were desperately hoping for some relief from the over confident gloating, power alliance. Similarly, we went with the same song we used in this week's Listener Feedback show since it was just perfect given the results we got in Tribal Council . Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them and their inspirational tunes.

Greetings Survivor Fans,

We've got another round of excellent analysis from you guys, so let's dig in.

This week, we hear from Bob, Shelley, Bill, Sandi, and Drew. Our focus, like the music we chose, is centered around the opportunity to choose a different path to the final four and hopefully avoid a safe, but boring ending. :)

Keep those ideas coming for the "favorite scenes" video and watch the website for tests we will be posting this week to help us decide on a format.

Let us know if you might be interested in testing out some new interaction options. If there is enough response, we will try and schedule a conference call via Gizmo. Check the links section below for more information.

We want to hear from you, and each week we create a special show just like this one for that very purpose. We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. With either of those options, we can include your audio directly into the special Listener Feedback shows.

The intro song this week is dedicated to Rafe, Cindy, Lydia, and Danni. We're pulling for a major restructuring of the power core and the final four. Similarly, the outro music is dedicated to all the Survivor fans out there that are hoping that we see a change in episode 12 to avoid a boring inevitable conclusion. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them and their inspirational tunes.
